Christmas trees can be a new and exciting item in the home for pets to explore. The decorations placed on trees can result in problems when ingested. Tinsel and ornaments can cause GI obstruction. Homemade salt dough ornaments can cause the sodium level in the blood to become dangerously high resulting in GI upset and neurologic signs. Christmas tree water, including water that contains tree preservative, may result in GI upset, but there is no concern for a serous toxicity

Fall Update!

Since the leaves have changed we are going to be halting our trapping efforts as the cold isn’t good for cats to be stressed in. We will start back up this spring.

We are going to be posting winter community cat housing plans and encourage you to share!

If anyone is willing to build and sell any of those items we can post them here for you.
