Can you believe Winnie and Corky are still available for adoption??

These sweet babies are the last of their siblings and we can't believe they haven't found their forever homes yet but we know their families are out there!

Corky has the softest white fur and the most beautiful two-colored eyes.He's a chill guy who enjoys cuddling with his siblings and soaking up the sun. Corky is a goofy cat. His foster parent says he is the silliest of his siblings and is always sitting in the funniest positions. He can be a bit shy at first but when he warms up he is a total charmer.

Winnie is the most confident of her siblings. She is a spunky girl who loves to spend her days running and playing. Winnie loves getting attention from her people but is also an independent lady and happy to do her own thing. Winnie is a sweet girl and will bring endless fun to her forever home.

🐾 Cute Kitten Alert! 🐾

We have some very special young cats ready for adoption! These sweethearts came from a difficult situation as their owner lost their housing, but they were well-loved and cared for, and now they’re ready to find their forever families. 💕

Along with these sweet young cats, we have their mom with another litter of babies. Only 2 years old and she has had 3 litters but thankfully this one will be her last. Once she weans these babies, she will get spayed and will be able to enjoy her life without anymore litters.

While the babies aren't ready for adoption yet, their older siblings are ready to find their forever homes. They are extremely friendly, sweet, and would love to go home with a sibling or to a home that already has a cat or kitten.

These are very special cats and we can't wait for them to find their forever homes.

All of us at Underdog are devastated for the humans and animals impacted by the California wild fires. Homes destroyed, lives lost, and the hardest decisions imaginable having to be made.

If you are able to help, we encourage you to please donate to the Pasadena Humane Society. These dedicated individuals are on the ground intaking displaced animals and treating those that are brought in with severe burns and injuries. Over 250 animals have already been brought in and monetary donations allow them to continue supporting the community and their pets.

🐾 Kitten Alert! 🐾

We’ve got kittens galore looking for their forever homes, and they are seriously the sweetest little things! Right now, we have three adorable 8-week-old brothers—Leo, Louie, and Lincoln—ready to join your family. These boys are total lovebugs, super playful, and just as cute as can be! 😻💕

🎉🐾 Adoption Update!🐾🎉

It was a very exciting weekend for us at Underdog because our sweet girl Velma was adopted! This angel came from the worst possible situation, abandoned by her owners, neglected and left to starve. She came to us severely underweight and in need of medical attention.

She spent weeks in a foster home, gaining weight, gaining confidence, and learning how to trust humans again. Waiting for the day to come where she would find her forever home.

Finally, after waiting patiently, her forever family found her. DeAna saw Velma's photos, heard her story, and knew she was the dog they had been looking for.

We couldn't be happier to make this family complete and help Velma find her new home. We couldn't do this work and help dog's like Velma without all of our incredible supporters and adopters. Thank you all for supporting us and for helping wonderful dogs like Velma.

We wish her a lifetime full of belly scratches and cuddles!

Velma is a 2 year old, precious angel. Velma came from an awful situation where she was abandoned with many other dogs. She was beat up and neglected most of her life. Since becoming an Underdog she has gained weight and is becoming her own dog. She's a big goofy girl with so much love to give.

Velma will happily sit next to her people all day long. She loves to prance around like a deer and is quite good on walks. She'd be. A fantastic family dog as she loves all people and just wants pets, not a mean bone in her body. She does well with her foster brother, she enjoys snuggling and playing tug with him. We have a couple of kittens available! They're all 4 months old and will be ready for their forever homes by next weekend! These 3 brothers are looking for new siblings to call their own. They all love playing with each other, but would benefit from more confident companions.

Hewy, is a handsome dark tabby. He loves belly rubs and has the handsomest face. Once he gets comfortable, we know he'll be the best lap cat. He loves sleeping the day away and soaking up the sun.

Wesley, the biggest of the boys. Wesley is an active and tumble boy. His foster home is working on the sweeter side and he's slowly learning the joys of being carried around.

And last but not least, Timmy! Timmy is the sweetest emotional support cat. His best friend is the daughter in the foster home. He'll sit and cuddle for extended periods and then go off to play with his brothers. Timmy had the cutest white dot nose.

Love is in the air, and we've got a special girl who's ready to steal your heart! Meet Velma, a sweet 2-year-old pup who's looking for her forever Valentine. 🐶❤️

Velma has had a difficult life but that hasn't stopped her from falling in love with every person she meets. She enjoys the company of other dogs and will give you the sweetest puppy dog eyes when she wants more pets.

As you can see, Velma is still severely underweight due to a neglectful past but she is gaining weight and getting more energy every day.

*trigger warning: animal cruelty*

Recently we received a call for help from a shelter in Eastern Washington and we were at a loss for words when we heard the story. Several dogs abandoned in a home for days with no food and no water. Upon seeing the photos of the dogs, it was clear the dogs did not only face a few days of neglect but most likely a lifetime. They all came in severely malnourished with their ribs showing and wounds on their bodies.

We knew Underdog Pet Rescue needed to jump in to help. With a foster home open, we took in Velma, a 2-year old female pit mix. This sweet girl doesn't know a stranger. She loves everyone that she meets despite how cruelly humans have treated her. She will need a few weeks to gain some weight and recover from her tail amputation surgery which was a result of something called happy tail where a dog wagging their tail hits the walls of a kennel causing injury.

We will post more updates about her in the coming weeks and we hope she will be available for adoption soon.

Sweet Velma will need extensive vet care to get her to a healthy place. If you are able to, please consider donating to her care and sharing her story. We are excited to give this beautiful girl a second chance and to find her a family that will give her all of the love that she deserves.

A year in review! As 2023 comes to an end, a reflect all the animals who have been adopted this past year.

We can't do any of this work without our dedicated fosters and loving adopters!

Happy kitten Sunday!! 🐱🐱 these sweet babies, Penny and Pegasus, are having a blast in their foster home while they wait to become available for adoption. These kittens are as sweet as can be. They love to play, cuddle, and romp around and would be a great addition to any family. They will be available for adopter at the end of June.
