Happy kitten Sunday!! 🐱🐱 these sweet babies, Penny and Pegasus, are having a blast in their foster home while they wait to become available for adoption. These kittens are as sweet as can be. They love to play, cuddle, and romp around and would be a great addition to any family. They will be available for adopter at the end of June.
Meet Wren! (ADOPTED)
Wren was a pull from an Eastern Washington shelter who is over-capacity. Wren was shy and shut down to the point where staff questioned if he was feral or not!
After a few minutes in one of our foster homes, it was clear that this boy was anything but feral, and has been one of the sweetest, best behaved gentlemen we've met. Wren's story is a perfect example of why small rescues are so important. We are able to help not just Wren, but the shelter who is struggling for space. This allows the shelter to focus on saving more lives, and allows us to give dogs like Wren the space and time to be their best selves.

Mellow Vet Visit
Mellow had another check up this morning. The good news keeps coming! She is 98% done with her treatment and should be cleared for spay in the next few weeks! Her immune system was finely healthy enough to get all her vaccines as well.
She continues to be a snuggly bug and a perfect house guest in her foster home. She is fully crate trained and loves to sunbathe.
This little lady should be available for adoption by July, but until then we are still raising money to help pay her vet bills. We've raised a couple hundred dollars so far, which covers just half of it. We and Mellow thank all of her donors!

Churro wins over shy cat

Churro sticks are very near and dear to our rescue. From giving medication to winning over a shy kitty! These little tubes are full of magic. One of the hearts of Underdog is rehabilitation, shy and undersocialized kitties to be exact. We work hard to provide extra care to them to gain their trust and increase the comfortability of humans.
Some might recognize, Sean, an alum who was adopted back in December. This video shows some of the progress we were able to obtain through patience and treats. We go threw these sticks like candy!

Morning Snuggles w/ Obie
Obie is recovering from their surgery nicely! (view her little nub). She will have to wear the cone for a little while, but that won't stop this little snuggly girl! Volume up for some intense purrs.

Caper's Morning Pets

Caper believes that every morning should be this laid back. Caper comes with her twin sister, Olive, who also agrees. These girls enjoy lounging around on their favorite chair and watch out the window as the clouds pass by.
Olive and Caper are 1-year-old sisters who are ready for adoption. Their charm has made their foster mom fall in love (read her letter in an earlier post). Their forever home will definitely be lucky to have these two treasures! They're both spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Benny the Love Bug

Benny wanted to share with everyone that he and his chubby cheeks are ready to be adopted!
In his foster home, he's shown off how confident he is. He'd love a young kitty playmate, but he can come on a bit strong, and will need a patient cat to show him the ropes should he go home with another cat. We think Benny could enjoy having a dog sibling, depending on that dog's temperament. Going home to another pet isn't required, Benny just needs a home where he can get tons of love and attention.
