Plenty of the horses are back in after their summer break, if you are a competent and confident rider of racehorses or experienced with fit thoroughbreds/competition horses get in touch to find out about opportunities with the team. Yard Person required to join our large, friendly team in Ditcheat, Somerset. The role will involve handling top quality racehorses with plenty of opportunities to go racing. We have 150 horses in training and the main duties would be putting horses on and off the walker, mucking out, grooming, feeding, putting out hay baskets and general stable/yard duties.

Applicants will need to work well within a team but also use their initiative when required. Previous experience within the racing industry is not essential so long as you are capable and competent when handling fit thoroughbreds.

We can offer good regular hours (where all over time is paid), working 1 in 3 weekends and a Thursday afternoon off approaching the weekend to work, plus excellent wages, pool money and great accommodation in shared 3/4 bedroom house if required. Breakfast buns also provided on various days through the week!

Part Time Work Rider required to join the team from mid July onwards for the 2024-25 National Hunt Season, based in Ditcheat, Somerset. Riding out 3 or 4 lots daily Monday - Saturday, approximate hours as follows:
7.30am - 1st lot
9.05am - 2nd lot
10.30am - 3rd lot
11.45am - 4th lot
1pm - Finish
Applicants must be capable and confident riders and ideally have previous experiences of riding racehorses or fit competition horses. Regular hours and share of pool money.
