What a weekend! Mother’s Day is always one of the busiest, most beautiful times on the farm, and this year was no exception. From dawn ‘til dusk, our little flower operation was buzzing with love, and the sweet scent of spring blooms.

We were blown away by the support—so many of you stopped by, placed preorders, picked up bouquets for the moms and mother figures in your life, or treated yourselves (as you should!). Seeing our flowers head out the door to be part of your special celebrations means the world to us.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this Mother’s Day such a success—from our loyal regulars to the first-timers who found us this weekend. And of course, deep gratitude to all the moms and nurturers out there—we hope your day was filled with beauty and rest.

Now that the whirlwind has settled, we’re catching our breath, rehydrating, and already looking forward to what’s next on the farm. Until then, thank you again for letting us be part of your moments. 🌸

✨Want vase-worthy lilacs that actually hold up?
Try these florist-approved tips to keep them fresh and full—plus a lilac syrup recipe you’ll want to pour on everything.

🌸Pick in the cool of morning or evening – Midday sun zaps their energy, and you’ll be left with wilted sadness before you even get home.

🌸Choose panicles that are 75% open – Too tight and they won’t bloom, too open and they’ll expire faster than you can say “garden goddess.”

🌸Strip the leaves – They just drink up water and weigh the stems down. Let the flowers shine!

🌸Get them straight into water asap and let them hydrate in a cool dark location – Like a spa day for your lilacs.

🌼Lilac Syrup Recipe (floral, fragrant, and so easy):

1 cup lilac blossoms (no green stems, just petals)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice (helps with color + flavor)

Bring sugar and water to a simmer until sugar dissolves.

Remove from heat, stir in lilac petals, and steep for 1–2 hours.

Strain out petals, add lemon juice if using, and store in a jar in the fridge.

Drizzle it over pancakes, swirl it into cocktails, or stir into sparkling water for a springtime treat.

Let the tulip mayhem begin✨

Tulip harvesting is a joyful, all-consuming dance. Each day, we’re out in the fields, carefully pulling the stems—always chasing the right moment when they’re at their peak, but knowing we can’t leave a single one behind. It’s a delicate balance between honoring the beauty of each bloom and managing the constant rhythm of harvests that can’t be paused or forgotten.

The joy? Seeing each row of tulips come to life, their vibrant colors unfolding like little surprises we’ve been waiting for all season. The challenge? The sheer pace. It’s a rhythm we’ve learned to embrace as we move between rows and buckets, hands caked in dirt, hearts full of gratitude for every stem we gather.

So, if we’re a little quieter than usual, it’s because we’re in the thick of it, fully immersed in the beauty and demands of tulip season. We can’t wait to share more with you soon, but for now, we’re out there, making sure every bloom is harvested at its best.
