6 weeks old and into everything🐾

5 weeks old today
Triton x Lassen
4 weeks old, 2nd trip outdoors
It’s time for a couple of the Written in the Stars puppies to find their new homes. I’ve kept this litter a couple weeks longer than is traditional. I’ve used this time to really watch their development both physically and in personality. Message me if you are interested in one of these very typey, traditional black Mudi girls. I would be happy to keep any one of these pups but Joe says I can’t keep them all.
They’ve had two DHPP vaccines and regular worming. They each sleep in their own crate at night, quietly. They are well on their way to being housebroken. My goal is for each of them to be in an active sport and/or show home.
Individual photos to follow.
I missed these little muggles while I was gone last week. Joe did an amazing job covering all of the many puppy raising tasks while I flew to CA to spend a few days with our daughter.
We are expecting negative temperatures this week so our outdoor playtime may be extremely limited for a while.
Puppies just have to have fresh air and room to roam, even if it is only 22 degrees F.
Another trip outside today. So much fun to watch these puppies explore their world and stretch their legs🐾🖤
5 weeks old today! They celebrated with their first outdoor playtime. It was brief and chilly.
Kona and Triton enjoy the freezing temperatures and first layer of snow. They are such well matched exercise, play and travel buddies! I love these boys🐾🖤

Enjoying the arrival of winter weather.
One of our recent additions to Mudi of Flyaway Farm is Monkey formerly known as Munchkin,
Registered name Twisted Acres Yellow Brick Road to Flyaway! She’s got a big personality and exhibits the best of her Twisted Acres parents, Ryder x Jolie.
She morphed from Munchkin (very cute) to Monkey based on her similarities to the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz, still cute but a little spicy and very sassy!
It’s been a busy day! Lassen has given us 6 black Mudi puppies so far. We have 5 females and 1 male. There is 1 NBT female and the male is a NBT. 9.2 oz is the smallest and 11.7 oz is the largest, healthy weights.
I’m not sure she’s done yet but she’s taking a break and a well deserved nap🐾🖤
I met a puppy from the Morgana x Rumli litter, Nyota. Morgana and Lassen are sisters so my fingers are crossed for the quality that I saw in Nyota, who very confidently went in the ring for the first time over the weekend to win Best Puppy in Herding Group competition.
We are home from Cheyenne WY and the Buckhorn KC show! Little miss Munchkin has joined the Mudi of Flyaway Farm from Twisted Acres! She is bold, sassy and an absolute doll! She made the 12 hour drive home like a seasoned traveler, which was much appreciated by the other three Mudis and me😊 Thank you Becky.
For Orly’s family! She loves her playtime with the other Flyaway Mudi girls🐾🖤
Triton and Kona playing in the fresh snow today! I could watch them play all day🐾🖤
Every dog owner needs a dog savvy cat. Our elderly cat, Bozo, has even started taking our morning walks with us.
Our first day of what feels like fall. We took our afternoon walk in a light rain. I could watch my Mudis run and play all day.
