We are Jaxon & Kiki. (Yes, THE JAXON). If you haven't heard my story, I was found dumped in 118 degree Vegas heat 4 years ago. I have a spinal compression issue, so I have problems using my legs & controlling my potties, so I go through lots of puppy pads. Shortly after I came to Aunty Diana, she was called to pick up a lost ferret in someone's backyard. Momma said she named her Kiki 'cause she loved her. After Kiki's 2 week quarantine, we were introduced. We bonded right away. Although momma did my exercises to strengthen my legs, Kiki taught me how to be a ferret. Kiki is now showing signs of adrenal, so she will ask Santa for an implant.

My name is Sissy or SB. I was surrendered to the shelter 4 years ago. I was chipped, so my chip was registered to the Shelter. I was adopted 3 years ago. My new owner never changed my chip registration. Somehow, I ended up at the Municipal Shelter. Since I was registered, they called Aunty Donna to get me. She brought me back to Aunty Di to be a resident. We were not able to contact the adopter. I have adrenal & insulnomia. I love my soupie!

My name is Monkey. I was 3 when I was surrendered to the shelter. The teenager had "no time" for me and the family was "busy" with all activities. I had a chordoma (fast growing tumor) on my tail. When Dr K was prepping me for surgery, she noticed my tail had a healed fracture, so she had to take more off. I live up to my name - I love climbing. I have never been around others, so I am a single. I love my sleeping cube & sleep sacks. I even love stashing duckies!

Meet Odie and Mischief! We look so cute and innocent when we are sleeping but we are the troublemakers of our group. We used to live in California but our ferrents got caught with us and had to surrender us to a shelter or those mean people in California were going to take us away and fine our ferrents and euthanize us. There was six of us when we came to Angel Ferret but sadly two of our brothers crossed over the rainbow bridge shortly after we got here. We both enjoy climbing and mama Shay always yells at us to get down. She’s a crazy lady. I don’t know what she won’t let us climb. Mischief is a serious stasher. She always is running by with some kind of stuffy. Odie is patiently waiting for his turn to get an implant for his adrenal. In the meantime time we just continue to play, lick salmon oil off our bellies and live our best lives here w mama Shay at Angel Ferret. Merry Christmas! 🎄

Hiii! My name is Fynn. But my mommy calls me Fynneas. I have been at the shelter for two years now because my family didn’t have time for me. When I came to the shelter, I walked a little funny because my muscles had something that mommy said the nice doctor calls atrophy, that’s from not being let out of my cage to run and dook. I came here with my 1 year old brother Freddie and mama Shay introduced us to a big group of friends and we bonded with them instantly. Mommy has to give me prednisone every day in my soupie because I have insulinoma. And in January I got diagnosed with adrenal disease. Mommy also recently found a mass on my belly and so I get to go see dr j. I love stashing squeaky toys. My favorite treats are freeze dried chicken hearts and gizzards. And I LOVE LOVE LOVVVEEE snuggling w my siblings in my favorite sleep sack. 🩵

Barry, Robin and Maurice, aka The Bee Gees, were neglected by a friend of their owner who was supposed to be caring for them while their owner was away. Their cagemate passed away, and Robin was severely malnourished. They have been rescued and are doing well and have made friends at the shelter. Robin is still a bit shy and seems to be suffering from PTSD, or some other problems yet to be diagnosed. They are bonded and will be residents until Robin overcomes his fear and anxiety.

Hi, my name is Gypsy and I am 8 years old this year! I've lost my cagemate, Scout, a few years ago and I prefer to be by myself. I am slightly blind now, and aren't as spry as I used to be. I still love to give kisses, but my days are spent sleeping in my favorite sack and eating soupy. I sometimes sleep in my corner sack and use my hammock as a pillow! I'm a still a silly little girl.

Hi! My name is Taz, and you may remember me from about a year ago when I was surrendered with DIM (Disseminated Idiopathic Myofascitis) wow that's a mouthful, especially for a ferret! Well, after lots of love, yucky medication and physical therapy, I got all better...but now I have that nasty adrenal disease. I hear there is a deslorin implant that will keep me from losing my beautiful fur. I would like that very much, but in the meantime I like treats, soupies, toys, a cuddly bed and biting my mommy.
