Nothing like a sunny drive down to Jalama Beach! If you every get the chance to visit the Santa Barbara area, it is worth the drive to see the breathtaking beauty of this place. Its difficult to describe how magnificent this area is, but Phoebe's face says it all!

Do you struggle with building trust with your rescue? We both had different experiences when our Dad brought us home. Piper was shy and skittish while I was jumping on my dad on the couch within hours of arriving to my forever home. Each dog is unique and will require their own amount of time and space. But with a little patience and consistency, you will build a bond that lasts a lifetime!

A few tips that worked for us:

🐶 Give us space and don't pressure us to do things we aren't comfortable with like sitting in your lap or allowing you in our personal space.

🐶 Provide lots of treats to help us celebrate the wins and remind us that you care!

🐶 Take it slow and remain patient, with time we will trust you with our lives!
