Little Missy is becoming very playful. I've never had a kitten or cat that immediately takes to her new toys and kitty beds. Ya know how they prefer the box instead of their expensive new beds or toys! Not Missy. She is such a happy and playful baby. She loves everyone she meets and she starts purring right away.
The vet didn't want to place her on any medication other than a preventative for pests since she is a very good eater and her poopies are just perfect. She is being given Lysine which is an immune system supplement, per the vet's recommendation just to help her overcome the snuffles faster.

I love that she is happy and wants your attention but she is very calm on her own as well.
She'll be available for indoor homes only in a few weeks in the Chico, Sacramento and possibly Bay area locations.

I just got the most wonderful news from our sweet Sasha's parents! They're getting married and baby Sasha is in the wedding! Her mom and dad are just the most loving parents to our baby Sasha who is turning 3 on November 6th.
So happy for them all! Congratulations 🎊

Probably her very first toy. A little mouse Missy is enjoying playing with 😀 she also took to her soft and fun kitty cave right away.
She is just such a love bug!
She'll be up for adoption in a few weeks in the Sacramento or Chico CA area. For the most awesome indoor home adoption farther away may be considered.

Little Missy had her first vet visit today. She was immediately staff favorite, even when her little ears were cleaned. She is healthy and strong, her appetite is great and other than a mild URI she got a clean bill of health. Her feline leukemia test came back negative as well which is great news! Vet confirmed her age between 4-5 months.
For being such a good little girl, she got her presents delivered just in time from returning from the vet. Her little cave bed and another one on top. She immediately went for some food.

The sweetest and most loving new kitten coming up for adoption soon!

It's been a long while since our Zoey's Rescue Kittens are Ready for Forever Homes posted. Our adopted kittens are all thriving in their most loving homes and I am always delighted to get updates about them. They've growned up to be happy and loving kitties.
We rescued a new kitten who will be going through the vetting process shortly and will be coming up for adoption in the next few weeks.
We are looking for a name for her as well! Enter suggestions in the comments!

She is probably the most loving kitten I've ever met, even allowing her toes to be played with, (see video) she cuddles right into your lap and has the sweetest purrs.

She craves attention but is also fine being left to be by herself.

She will be available for indoor only homes once fully vetted in the Chico or Sacramento area.

Hi Kitten Lovers! Vik here, Zoey's kittens foster mom. I just heard the most wonderful words from Sasha's new mom! She told me little Sasha is the purrrfect cat! She is happy and cuddly and eating very well :)

Exciting day today! The boys, Whiskey and Little Foot and their momma Zoey are at the vet, getting vetted, fixed. The vet told me after their exam that they are all super healthy! Whiskey is adopted by a wonderful new kitty mommy in Sacramento and he will be going to his furrever home after recovery, Little Foot (the one without the spot on the nose) is still available to the purrrfect home (although adoption is pending :)
and Zoey, their mommy will also be going to her loving new mommy very soon!

Whiskey is being adopted by a loving new kitty mommy in Sacramento! We will miss him terribly but are sooooo excited for him! He will have a new sister to play with and enjoy the catio with her that his new mommy is building, so they can safely enjoy the wonders of the outdoors without all the dangers. I am sooo happy for Whiskey and thankful for the Bitten by a Kitten rescue for helping with his adoption process.The are 🥰the best!

You wanna know what dinner time looks like for six kittens and mamma? Here they are enjoying 4 cans of wet food mixed with two organic raw eggs to help them with their vitamin needs! Noms! Here is Sophie and Sasha about a month or so old. They are learning to use the litter box, so you can see them spreading some of the sand! And, naturally, they are close to each other :) They are now 5.5 old, see more pics of them now in the timeline:) They are still available to quiet homes with no children.

Why would you want to wait until kittens a bit older? You will know their personalities, they will be fixed and given shots before you take them home, they are potty trained, and are just at the right age to find their true self and imprint on their humans when you take them home. Our kittens received the best of care since they were conceived, their mommy was safe and cared for, and gave birth to our kittens inside. Our sweet six have never been outside, never been exposed to any diseases and are now truly ready to explore your home and capture your heart to give you endless joy. Our kittens are adoptable in early May to loving families who will provide indoor homes only. We are in Northern California, Chico area, but are working with rescue organizations to make them available to serious adopters in the Chico, Sacramento and Bay Area locations. Meet Sophie and Sasha:
And then there is Sophie and Sasha. From early kitten-hood Sophie has been very observing, just like her favorite sister, Sasha. They were the last to be born and are the smallest of the littler. I thought that considering her beautiful markings and her observant nature, she must have certain cat wisdom she was born with, thus her name, Sophie, one meaning of which is wise. She loves gentle pets just like Sasha, the Tuxedo kitty. I have a soft spot for tuxedo cats, as one of our boys is also a tux, and we had one a few years ago. Sasha is similar in temperament to Sophie, they are also shy at first, but once they play with you and then feel your warm, loving hand, their little purr boxes start up.

Meet Zara and Floof:
The second pair is Zara and Floof. Both girls are gentle and sweet, very curious. Shy at first like their siblings, but it doesn’t take much to make them want to play with you and they both enjoy gentle pets. Zara especially is a snuggle bug. Once she warms up to you, she loves to face snuggle you and enjoys your touch. Floof makes the funniest faces, being a really fluffy little thing with a large, fluffy tail! She is likely to grow into a magnificent longer haired cat, while Zara is a short hair. I have a real soft spot for Zara, she is the most loving of them all, at least to me. And it shows in her sweet little face.

The kittens naturally paired themselves, growing up together, playing and learning how to cat!

Meet Whiskey and Little Foot!
Whisky, who was named after the beverage, because he was really interested in it, while we were playing with them, enjoys playing with his brother, Little Foot. Little Foot got his name, because he has a shape of a foot on his back! At first we thought to name him Big Foot, but he is such a cutie and we thought Little Foot would suit his personality better. These are the two most playful of the litter, naturally, similar in temperament, both being boys, they like to get into some mischief with their toys, and bounce off the walls chasing them, and each other. They are both very interested in sniffing your feet and pretending it is another toy to play with, but their play is gentle and funny. They are both a bit shy at first, testing their ground with a new person, but if you spend only a 15 minutes with them, they are expecting you to play with them, and become ever increasingly interested in you and want your attention.

As we searched for a home for Zoey, we took her inside into our currently empty oversized walk in closet (with two windows!) and set up her very own nesting spot. She received the best of care, lots of food, as her appetite was ever so growing, as she would near her delivery date.

and then...... Kittens are born!
And, finally, she went into labor on November 6th, 2019! She gave birth to 7 cutest little bundles of joy. She immediately knew how to care for them and we gave her all the support she needed to be the best mama that she is! All of her kittens were healthy and well, but, as these things do happen, one of them passed away after a week. If she were to have them outdoors, likely only a couple would have made it. The rest of the kittens thrived and became the sweetest, most playful little kittens.
