Apparently the conventional dog beds available in most retail store are just not designed for dogs.
Majority of the bed out there are made out of polyester fillings which is a by-product of petroleum which is treated with loads of chemical. This type of fillings does a great job in absorbing & retaining heat and odor which make sleeping uncomfortable. Not to include they are difficult to clean and clump together when washed.
Everybody who owns a dog knows that dogs react to the world primarily through their nose and ears. Your dog has a nose that is 40 times more sensitive than your nose and a pair of ears that is 8 times better in picking up noises of the surrounding.
