Our rescue started in May of 2020 with an 18 year old’s dream of helping animals in need and her family’s support! To date, we have rescued 133 cats, 15 rabbits, and 2 dogs in our single-family home with most of the care by that 18 year old Makayla and her mom and with very little (Thanks to those who made donations those weren’t little ❤️) outside support. While we will miss the rescue world terribly, we’ve decided to stop intakes at this time. Makayla is now in North Dakota and we have 3 rabbits and 7 cats that haven’t been able to be adopted. Add those to our residents and we have a house full of fur!! We will continue to look for other ways to help the animals! Please consider fostering for a local shelter as they are overflowing and it’s not even kitten season yet!

Our hearts are heavy today. We have had 4 kits pass away/euthanized. All pictured here except the dilute Trixie are gone. Their human failed them. Their human did not spay/neuter 4 cats that continued to reproduce 40+. They were living in filth and little to no human touch. It makes me so angry. Don’t get an animal if your not going to take care of it. They did not deserve this. I can at least say that their last few weeks on earth they lived in a clean bathroom with plenty of food, water, toys and the little love they would allow. Val, Sandy, Alexander and Bruce…your lives mattered to us and you will be missed. No more suffering. 💔

Our Sweet Pea went to her furever home today!! So excited she has an awesome family and will be the only cat in the house…(at least for now…maybe they will foster with us!) We love you always and furever Sweet crazy girl!!!!

.bottge and I responded to an ask for help. What started as 4 cats quickly turned 30 in a short period of time. We weren’t sure what we could do to help, weren’t sure we could do anything at all BUT we showed up! That’s half the battle. We brought these 3 siblings (we need to go back for #4) along with 3 females we were able to grab. They will all be spayed/neutered vaccinated and the babies adopted out. The older females may go back home. We are working out our plan, however we won’t stop until all 30 are spayed and neutered. While this was supposed to be our rest time, we just felt like this was something we had to do. Some may not understand us but our fellow rescuers completely do! We have had two special friends donate to us… and your donations will definitely be put to use on this project along with our Chipotle Fundraiser and Super Bowl Squares!!! Meet Carson, Charlotte and Georgia!!! Our venmo is for anyone else who wants to pitch in and help!! Also to take on this big task!!Thank you to everyone for your support 💙

Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our fundraiser at Chipotle!!! We were able to visit with many friends, eat good food and raise money to help with the fur babies!! made this event effortless on our part and the monetary donation is greatly appreciated! ❤️🐾❤️

Bittersweet day…The Bears found their furever home just in time for Christmas!!! We will miss these amazing, loving boys BUT are so happy they have a family to call their own! We love you Grizzly and Teddy and wish you the best life ever ❤️🐾❤️
