Lake 🩵 is trying to convince me that we can use small portable signals on the A5 at Shrewsbury. I think we need full height specification with advanced detection as it is a high speed road. I wouldn’t mind but she’s only been in the job for 5 weeks and 2 days!

We both agree that the Greggs on this roundabout makes a site visit a certainty 🥖🥓🍳

A walk around the Heybridge Basin in Friday’s sunshine, followed by a drink in the pub!

For anyone leaving within reach of Maldon, it’s a great walk with great scenery. About 3.5 miles if you do the full loop! All fairly flat and easy-going.

I blew off the cobwebs today with a super walk that took in a park, a pond, a field, a river, a park and a pond again! Dogs loved every minute of it!

Downside: I discovered it takes 3 hours to bathe and dry 5 dogs following such a walk.

Worth it though!

Yesterday we met with Tessa’s puppy, Zuri.

She’s doing great with her family and is a mini-me of Tessa.

We will arrange a larger meet with newest litter of puppies when they are a little older so they can riot with each other without getting tired to quickly.

With Magic having left for his new home this evening, this brings to an end another chapter in our life.

You wouldn’t believe it with us having 3 adult dogs, but the house is quiet and missing that little bit of puppy mischief.

With Rocket passing away, it has been sad end to what is usually a really fulfilling time for Michelle, myself and the kids. This was the first time we have lost a puppy, and with him making real progress over the last few weeks, it hit us harder than I thought it would. I am grateful though that he was with us rather than a new family.

On a more positive note; we have eight beautiful puppies set for a happy life with eight wonderful families. We would like to thank you all for entrusting us with your newest family member, and we wish you all good health and happy times together. Please know that we are always here if you need us.

Once puppies have grown a little, we would love to arrange a walk with you all, either as a group or in smaller meet up.

We do require an occasional photo or video update from you all though, they are always welcome.

We hope to see you all soon

Dogs enjoyed a trip to the seaside on BH Monday, not that they know what a bank holiday is of course! #workshydogs

Tessa and Lia at war today (sort of)

Lia’s 🧚🏼‍♂️ first visit to the park proved to be a success at the weekend. She’s at good little walker and likes to explore new people and spaces. Note: I do have a long lead, I just couldn’t be bothered to carry it.
