Rehoming Legacy.

Legacy is a beautiful 16month old spayed female Golden Retriever. She has lived with me since she was 8 weeks old so has been trained as such. She’s crate trained, house broke, walks well on a leach and knows her basic commands. I hate to let her go but I’m doing what’s best for her. She will be able to go to her new home in 1 week after her final vet check.

Update on Legacy!!!

She got out of surgery at about 6pm. She did great under anesthesia and if all goes well she will be coming home tomorrow.

Everyone Please Pray For Legacy.

She started vomiting last night so off the the ER vets we go. This morning it was confirmed she has a forgein body. While doing the work up for vomiting we found that she also has a pyometra(uterus infection). She is now rolling into surgery for an emergency spay and forgein body removal.

Update on Blue Boy!

He’s doing great. Healing beautifully and No signs of infection. He is sassy and full of personality.

He’s doing great and is expected to live a long happy healthy life with no complications!!!

Evening update!!

Blue boy looks spectacular after surgery. He’s feels so much better. He’s hates his cone and 100% believes that his doctors are starving him.

PLEASE PRAY FOR BLUE BOY. HE NEEDS ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT HE CAN GET.

My worst nightmare has come true.

Just this morning 1/17/24 blue boy was a lively rambunctious 6 week old Golden retriever puppy from my Tosh and Sterlyn litter that was born on 12/5/23. Blue boy was completely normal this morning happy meet me at the whelping pen door along with all of his siblings. I went to work as I usually do at 5pm I got a call from my husband( he works night shift so someone is with the the dogs all the time) saying to rush home something is very wrong with blue boy. I came home and seen that yes something is very wrong I rushed him to the UGA veterinary teaching hospital where they did x rays and an ultrasound. He has been diagnosed with a traumatic diaphragmatic hernia. In layman’s terms his abdominal organs are in his chest cavity. The only thing I can think of that has happened was he was stepped on by mom. Blue boy is currently being stabilized at UGA vet school in an oxygen cage. He will most likely get surgery tomorrow 1/18/24. This is a very tough and complicated surgery. UGA wants their entire staff available to help him. Please pray for this sweet boy he does not deserve this and I’m doing everything I can to help him. Anything will help Image
