Rehoming Legacy.

Legacy is a beautiful 16month old spayed female Golden Retriever. She has lived with me since she was 8 weeks old so has been trained as such. She’s crate trained, house broke, walks well on a leach and knows her basic commands. I hate to let her go but I’m doing what’s best for her. She will be able to go to her new home in 1 week after her final vet check.

Update on Legacy!!!

She got out of surgery at about 6pm. She did great under anesthesia and if all goes well she will be coming home tomorrow.

Everyone Please Pray For Legacy.

She started vomiting last night so off the the ER vets we go. This morning it was confirmed she has a forgein body. While doing the work up for vomiting we found that she also has a pyometra(uterus infection). She is now rolling into surgery for an emergency spay and forgein body removal.

Update on Blue Boy!

He’s doing great. Healing beautifully and No signs of infection. He is sassy and full of personality.

Evening update!!

Blue boy looks spectacular after surgery. He’s feels so much better. He’s hates his cone and 100% believes that his doctors are starving him.

PLEASE PRAY FOR BLUE BOY. HE NEEDS ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT HE CAN GET.

My worst nightmare has come true.

Just this morning 1/17/24 blue boy was a lively rambunctious 6 week old Golden retriever puppy from my Tosh and Sterlyn litter that was born on 12/5/23. Blue boy was completely normal this morning happy meet me at the whelping pen door along with all of his siblings. I went to work as I usually do at 5pm I got a call from my husband( he works night shift so someone is with the the dogs all the time) saying to rush home something is very wrong with blue boy. I came home and seen that yes something is very wrong I rushed him to the UGA veterinary teaching hospital where they did x rays and an ultrasound. He has been diagnosed with a traumatic diaphragmatic hernia. In layman’s terms his abdominal organs are in his chest cavity. The only thing I can think of that has happened was he was stepped on by mom. Blue boy is currently being stabilized at UGA vet school in an oxygen cage. He will most likely get surgery tomorrow 1/18/24. This is a very tough and complicated surgery. UGA wants their entire staff available to help him. Please pray for this sweet boy he does not deserve this and I’m doing everything I can to help him. Anything will help Image

LOTTIE FOUND HER FOREVER HOME!!

She will be living her best life with her new family and best friend Shadow.

Due to no fault of her own Lottie is looking for a forever family. Lottie is 15 months old female spayed Golden retriever girl. She has been with me for 2 months to get to know her and some manners training! She’s a happy girl who is great with other dogs, house broke and has knows basic commands. She’s up to date on all vaccines and Heartworm medication.

Lottie is from my 2nd litter. Her mom is my Benelli and her dad is Legend who is owned by Helena B Lamont.

Tosh is an talented, all around stud dog with many positive attributes. Full of heart in everything he does, Tosh has a true golden temperament and lives to please his handler in any venue. He wins the heart of everyone who meets him, adores children and puppies, and can be found swimming in the pond or playing ball with the kids out back when he is home. He has good drive without being too “up”, a solid retrieve instinct, loves to swim, & has a nice off switch when lounging around the house. Tosh finished his champion title at 17 months old with three 5pt majors, including a specialty WD at 6 months old. Tosh has OFA Good hips, Normal elbows, Normal heart (auscultation & echocardiogram), Normal eyes (No Breeder Options), & is “Clear” on his whole genetic panel including ICH-2 & NCL. He has full dentition & a correct, scissors bite.

Sterlyn is a balanced girl with correct structure and beautiful movement. Sterlyn is a sensitive soul. She’s very eager to please and you never have to tell her something twice. She love running agility and snuggling on the couch.
She has her Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Novice titles. After Sterlyn’s maternity leave she will be hitting the agility ring to get more advanced titles. Sterlyn has all over her health clearance including hips, elbows, eyes and heart. She is also genetically cleared through Embark and PawPrint for over 180 different genetic genes including ICH 1 & 2 and NCL
