The radish is part of the brassica family (like cabbage and broccoli).

Adding this tiny microgreen to your diet will surely add a little kick to your dishes but also a boost of antioxidants and vitamin C. One cup has more Vitamin C than spinach. 😯

Microgreens are considered baby plants, falling somewhere between a sprout and baby green.

That said, they shouldn’t be confused with sprouts, which do not have leaves!

Microgreens pack some serious nutrition like Vitamin A, C, K and polyphenols. It’s easy to add these to your daily routine, just a handful a day can be beneficial.

We offer weekly delivery of your fresh Microgreens. Don't worry if your not home during our delivery hours, simply leave a small cooler out and your greens will stay FRESH until you get home and can get them into the fridge. Delivery is Tuesday/Thursday. Pea, Sunflower, Radish, Broccoli and Kale are on regular rotation. Message us for details or to get on the program.

At Elk River Microgreens we use 100% Biodegradable and Compostable clamshell packaging, reducing the ecological impact. They are made from annually renewable corn. The manufacturing process emits 77 percent less CO2 and consumes 56 percent less energy than the equivalent weight of PET (Polyethylene terephthalate).

We feel pretty good about these packages, PLUS they keep your tender little greens fresh for up to 2 weeks in the fridge!!

Pea Shoots. What can you do with them? Very young shoots are delicious eaten raw in salads, where they add a sweet flavor and crisp texture. We like to use larger shoots in stir-frys or any dish where you'd use lightly cooked spinach or Swiss chard.
