It’s been a very long winter and our runner ducks have been on strike not laying a single egg for months😅 However they must think it’s spring now (although the weather doesn’t quite agree🤣) and are all laying well again. We have hatching eggs available for either collection or can post. Contact our page for details. 🐣

Love getting updates from people that have hatched our eggs. These are pictures from 2 customers that have recently had good hatches and lovely colour mixes from our eggs. Both have ended up with a crested duckling too. Seems to be out of every 6 eggs hatched, one is crested. I must hatch some of my own next year, as we haven’t done it for a couple of years💗

Our runner ducks are so happy to be allowed out again. It’s been a long slog during Flockdown! We have hatching eggs available. So far our fertility rates have been 100% and many people have already had very successful hatches this year. At the moment we aren’t hatching ducklings ourselves, but we have had a few people asking so we may well do a hatch during the summer. If interested, please message the page.

Another happy customer. Seeing all these fluffies is making me want to hatch some again 😅 I love that Red House Runners are being hatched all around the country. We have worked hard over the years to get a good variety of colours, different blood strains and to ensure that our ducks are happy and healthy, which leads to good strong eggs and good fertility.

All our ducklings have now gone to lovely homes, apart from these 2 that we are keeping named Moon & Spot. Their adult feathers are just starting to come through and it’s exciting to see what their final colours will be. We have our next hatch due anyday and I am very excited for this hatch, as I bought some eggs in from another breeder as I want to introduce a new colour and blood strain to my flock. Keeping fingers crossed that I get the colours I want. Watch this space!!
