🎅🐾Hello all!! It's that time of year again, when I launch the Poundie Sleigh appeal for this year!
We at Animal Lifeline UK try to send as many December poundies as possible, off to their rescue placements with a bag of toys and treats to share with their new friends!
Please get in touch if you would like to donate anything, if you know me personally, this can be in the form of physical donations, or you can donate via PayPal (as a friends/family payment) to [email protected] (please note the 1 in the middle) and I will purchase items for you and post pictures here.
It's been such a tough time in the rescue world recently...let's make Christmas special for those spending it still waiting for their special family 🧑‍🎄🎅🐾

The Poundie Sleigh made its final drop offs for the season this week.. 🥰 Firstly, Greatfield Small Animal Rescue received their hamper, also, with an additional kind donation from Amy, some fresh veggies for the rabbits too (they had just taken 5 rabbits who had been dumped on the Yorkshore Moors 🥲.
Secondly, a goodie bag was delivered to Happy Staffie, here are a couple of the doggies checking out their toys and treats... little Alice has recently arrived from the streets of Bosnia🐾
So, that's it for the Sleigh of 2021, thank you to everyone who made this happen! The Sleigh of 2022 will take off again Mid Novemeber 💜

Today saw the last "Poundie Sleigh" delivery before Christmas..the recipient was a very sad welfare case, so sadly I can't share his picture, but he has now arrived safely at his amazing rescue, with his goodie box and will know only love and kindness from now on... We can't change their past, but can help their future 💜
Merry Christmas Everybody and thank you to each and everyone of you who donated to this year's appeal.. (as few parcels are being delivered in the new year, pics to follow) 🌲🌲🐾🌲🌲💜xx

What a Busy week for The Poundie Sleigh!
Firstly The Street Kitchen (Sunday) collected their Christmas goodies, to be given to those less fortunate, with animals in their care...
Then on Monday, a big box of goodies went to Annie at Animals in Need, who took a stray pup for Animal Lifeline UK (I'm afraid, due to legal reasons, I can't post a pic of the dog yet) and a box for Frances Adores Bullbreeds (F.A.B) , who took a dog on Saturday... more to follow shortly! Thank you so much to everyone who made it all possible ❤🐾xx

Whilst making up the treatment cones last night, a small treat fell on the floor...this was quickly scooped up by Billie, who made off with it to his favourite vantage point to scoff it!! Thief!!❣

Huge Thanks to all of my lovely friends who sent goodies and donations to this year's Poundie Sleigh appeal! Your kindness and generosity means the world and will help brighten the Christmas of many animals 🧑‍🎄❣ The first 2 pictures are the amazing final haul! Also pictures of the dog and cat goodies being collected by The Street Kitchen (Worcester) this evening, for distribution to those on harder times than most.
Animal Lifeline have 2 strays going out this week, so will be taking goodie bags with them, to their new lives🥰 More pics to follow. Thanks again to much to everybody who has made this possible xx

This year we will be sending our ALUK Poundies off to their rescues with goodie bags to share with their new rescue friends and sending crackers filled with festive treats to animals helped by the Worcester Street Kitchen (Sunday).

Today saw the last of the Christmas poundies safely transported to rescue ❣ I can't post a pic, as the dog was a welfare case..but here is his transport crate, a bed kindly donated by Leianne and a bag of goodies to take to rescue❣ We haven't had many Christmas poundies as normal this year, so the rest of the Poundie Sleigh goodies will be sent as "Bags of Gratitude" to rescues who have helped ALUK recently, through lockdown..

The first goodie bag left yesterday 🥰 I'm unable to post a picture of the dog with the bag, as they were a welfare case, so no public pictures. The dog is safely in foster and will be enjoying the toys and treats we sent soon enough.. I have put a bag aside for the rescue, as they have helped ALUK with dogs through lockdown..thank you to all who made this possible xx (and yep, Libbie the chicken helped make up the bag!) 😂
