Hi all, hopefully some of you will see this. As our pups first birthday is coming up next month I’m curious how many of your females have had their first heat. Lilly hasn’t had hers yet and I’m surprised. Luna had her first heat at 9 months so I’ve been expecting it but it hasn’t come yet.

I’m curious do any of your babies have a thing for the laundry basket? Any time there’s a laundry basket on the floor empty or not Lilly wants in it. As you may recall when I’d clean the whelping pen before the pups got to big they were put in a laundry basket to keep them safe. Lilly views a basket as her comfort zone. ❤️😊

For any of you who are experiencing squishy stress poo you can give your puppy a little cooked rice with their food to help firm it up. If it lasts more than a few days be sure to call the vet.

How did everyone do their first night home? Lilly & Max’s first night of crate training was a success. We woke up to no 💩 or p*e in the crate, only fussed for a little while (I’m sure my kids would argue that it was a while). I don’t expect to stay that easy but it would be nice. Breakfast time is going to require Lilly learning which bowl is hers and that no one likes to share. lol

Puppy pick up day is done. A HUGE thank you to everyone for giving our pups new loving homes. Seeing how happy and excited everyone was made this so much easier. I only felt like I was going to cry a few times but I held it together. I truly hope you all are falling in love with your new babies. Please be sure to send or post lots of pics we would love to see how they grow. ❤️

I’m most definitely going to cry tomorrow guys…so just ignore it. lol I started to cry tonight when I hugged dark green and he held on like he was hugging me back. ❤️ I know they’re all going to loving homes and while I am happy for all our new families I’m going to miss these adorable, crazy little fluff balls. Hug and kiss your new babies every day and tell them how much you love them, because they’ve heard it every day since they were born.

For our new families, you’ll each receive a Canine Health Record, a small bag of food, registration papers and toys for your new baby. As of today all have had their distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza and parvovirus shots as well as dewormed again (they will need a booster).

We’re off to the vet. It wasn’t easy getting them all in the crate. Luna and Remus had to be locked in my bedroom to get the puppies out to the car. Luna was then frantically searching and came to the window to watch me drive away with her babies. Sunday might be just a little hard for her. She will probably be a major helicopter mom over Lilly that day.

Pick up day is fast approaching. I wanted to let all of you excited families know we will be doing pick up outside in the backyard. The weather looks beautiful for Sunday and I’m concerned Luna & Remus will be upset seeing their pups leave. So I thought it best to keep them inside while everyone has their private time to pick their baby. Their vet appointment for vaccinations is tomorrow morning…11 dogs in the car and into the office…this should be interesting 🤪
