Meet Oscar! At 2 and a half years old, he's a survivor with a story. He was found abandoned at Waldkinder kindergarten in
Sibiel by the administrator, who is a big animal lover, but unfortunately had no more place for him.
At just three months old, Oscar already faced challenges, with watery eyes and a noticeable limp in his back legs.
When I learned about his story, it was clear to me he needed help so, I gladly volunteered to take him under my wing.

Today he's grown into a healthy and confident tomcat, asserting his dominance among his shelter companions, particularly the ladies.

While Oscar isn't the cuddliest of cats and won't be found on your lap, he's fiercely independent, valuing feline
camaraderie over human attention.
He's more at ease exploring garden nooks or lounging in cozy shelter beds. He also highly appreciates good food!

Healthy, neutered and vaccinated, , Oscar is ready for a forever home with a secure garden, where he can roam freely
and be appreciated for his unique personality.

Luckily, my husband and our 7-year-old son at the time scooped him up and brought him home to join our crew of 10
other cats.
Despite his reserved nature,, hidden behind his shy demeanor is a heart of gold. Today, he graces us
with a glimpse into his world of cuddles and affection. 😍
Picky is longing for a loving home where he can truly shine and blossom into his

Now, that's an alarm...it's my debt at the vet clinic I mainly treat rescued animals in my care. Another almost 600 lei i will pay speciffically on medicines and tests and supplements.Almost 1000 it's for our Mimi, ill with a pancreatic tumour 😭, my part of course...
But the rest of almost 3000 lei(600 euro) is an accumulated debt I cannot cover by myself. Wondering how it became so high? Well, no adoptions +new cats in the shelter is the answer, plus the huge prices for decent food.

Sweet Ursula is ! She is about 2 years old, cuddly and social, very affectionate to humans. Good to other cats, so she would fit in a cat gang. She enjoys her cosy bed but she also likes being outside in the garden.

Please, welcome the newest aditions of the Kitties' Safe House shelter: tricoloured Carla, rescued from the cold by dear Iulia Maria Sasz ( she was living with her kittens under some rocks ...her kittens disappeared unfortunatelly) aaand vocal, cudly, purrrring Ursula, dumped out in the cold in the village museum and rescued by dear Elena Streit...
They both need vaccination, worming pills, good food and litter sand, like all residents .

He is 1 year old and slowly becomes a cuddly boy, even if he is very shy to people before he gets to know them well. He likes to have cat friends, but he tends to become bossy sometimes...
His family needs a lot of patience with him, but every minute is worthy, he is such a delicious soft boy...

Milimetru's unexpected illness and death not only left a hole in my soul, but also in the shelter's funds. The 2 main bills are paid at 2 vet clinics, and the amount is 180 euro. It was the food and sand for the shelter funds, provided through kind donations from Petra , Lala Miller, Uta Plath, Corina Manzat, Angela Eigner.
Now, it is time for a new food order and it looks impossible to do it, as the account only has 4.85 euro in it... 🙄
Please, help me solve this difficult situation, as residents of the Kitties' Safe House have only a 4kg Smilla dry food bag and 1 can wet food...

Beautiful OSCAR is 1.5 years old, he is a big independent boy. He adores wandering in the garden, but he lives in the shelter since June 2022 and he only has access outside for a few hours/day...He is neutered and vaccinated, ready to go home anytime.
Please, help him have the good life he deserves 🙏
You can offer him a home, a foster-home or at least a SHARE ☺️

She was Milimetru, sweet affectionate baby...
Now, after a week since i let her go away from pain, i can write about it...
She suffered from an allergy for a few months;hypoallergenic food did not really work, allergy tests has been performed.not something special or very clear...aspergylus and malassezia...nothing showed something could put her life in danger.
After 2 weeks she got liquid in her abdomen and i was ready to fight FIP with her, but tests ( strip and PCR) were negative! She was feeling weak, even if she ate very well any type of meat i gave her...blood tests were a disaster in red cells and trombocites. Vet suspected haemobartonella, but not clear in tests. For a week she spent every day in the clinic, evening and night at home, spoiled with all goodies to eat. Blood tests repeated on thursday , red cells even worse 😱We suspected leukemia, so a fiv/felv test was performed... it was FIV, she was probably born with it and the virus was active now...causing this disaster in her blood.
Blood transfusion has been done, but her body could not fight any longer; saturday morning i rushed her at the vet with balance problems and nervous symptoms...in 1 hour , together with Oana, her dedicated vet, we decided to let her go, as no medicine helped...
Fly over the rainbow, Milimetru, you were loved every single minute of your short life...

Beautiful Missy is 8 years old and she spent the last 2 in my shelter. She is not demanding at all, she enjoys cuddles when they are without asking for...She is enjoying her usual dry food, nothing special...
SHE is special in her way: she says how long she accepts to be cuddled by kicking with her claw 🤭
She is spayed and vaccinated, she gets along with other cats but preffers not to be bothered by crazy youngsters...
Please, would you offer Missy the chance to have a forever loving family?

Wondering maybe who's behind "Kitties' safe house"? This is me,Florina , and my cuddeling partner is little Blondie as a sick kitten, soon after she was thrown at our gate... I wouldn't be able to manage all the things rescues need without my lovely family: Stefan( master in construction, the author of the shelter from project to the roof), our son Cristi and my dear mom Marina (a real blessing for all pets while we are at work).
