🐾☀️ As temperatures rise, it's crucial to keep our furry friends cool and comfortable! Here are some tips to beat the heat:

Hydration: Always have fresh water available.
Shade: Create shaded areas outdoors.
Pupsicles: Treat your pup with homemade pupsicles! 🍦🐾

Here's a super simple recipe to make dog-friendly popsicles at home!

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana
1 cup plain yogurt (no added sugar)
1/4 cup peanut butter (make sure it's xylitol-free)
Water as needed

Instructions:

Blend banana, yogurt, and peanut butter until smooth.
Add water to adjust consistency if needed.
Pour mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.
Freeze for a few hours until solid.
Serve to your dog for a refreshing treat!

Meet one of our Certified Taste Testers, Oakley!

Oakley is our biggest taste tester by far, weighing in at a whopping 155 pounds! He is a Great Dane, although due to being a Harlequin (black and white) he is constantly getting confused for a Dalmatian, which makes him sad. When the taste testers have downtime, Oakley loves to steal whatever the other employees are playing with at the time. If you meet him in person, he would love to give you a hug, as hugs are his favorite thing to give new people. Oakley also eats the products a little too fast to be able to actually taste them and give his opinion, so we might demote him to Janitor.

We have more employees for you guys to meet too! Stay tuned each Friday to meet a new member of our crew, all of our Taste Testers are up first.

it's been way too long since we've posted something so we put Luna and Oakley in charge of sharing their favorite recipe for you to try at home! Homemade dog treats are a great way to show your furry friend some love. Not only are they a tasty treat for your dog, but they are also a healthier alternative to store-bought treats that may contain preservatives and artificial ingredients. Plus, making your own dog treats is a fun and easy activity to do with your kids or as a fun weekend project with your four-legged sous-chef.

Here is a simple recipe for peanut butter dog treats:

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup water
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and rolled oats.
Add in the peanut butter and water, and mix until everything is well combined.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
Cut the dough into shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
Place the treats on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Let the treats cool completely before serving to your pup.
Store the treats in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze the treats for up to 3 months.

Enjoy making these homemade treats and watching your pup devour them with joy!

You may or may not have noticed we’ve been gone almost an entire year. In this last year, we’ve been working tirelessly to rebuild our brand so we could come back better than ever. Being just one person, it’s been rough and I didn’t expect it to take a year — but unfortunately life happens. Rest assured that time was spent creating something amazing not only for your pups, but you too👀
