Our goal is to pull long-stay or "difficult to adopt" cats from our shelter partners and then utilize clicker training and play therapy to help their personalities shine in order to find a permanent home. We are a foster-based organization and run solely on donations and grants.

We have so much to be thankful for at Feline Fine!
This past year as a new organization has been filled with so many accomplishments that we couldn't have done without the help from our followers including:
🍂 Obtaining 501(c)(3) status
🍂 Having a successful 1st annual Kitty Krawl
🍂 Getting in-kind donations to support animals in our care

While we are not quite ready to take in animals, we are thankful we have been able to accept phone calls and help members of the community in need with advice and supplies.

We appreciate everyone's continued support while we continue to fine-tune our processes.

We've been quiet, we know. We've been meeting as a Board to fine-tune our policies so we can start taking animals. But we received wonderful news! Our 501(c)(3) application has been approved!! Donations made to our organization are now tax-deductible. We will be updating Paypal and our website here in the next week.
We have a Board meeting this Sunday and hope to have all sorts of updates for you all!
We can't wait to get started.

Oof. We've been quiet the past few months! 🤫
Here are our updates:
😺 We applied for 501(c)(3) status! The waiting process can take up to several months to be approved.
😺 We are working on a foster manual and adoption processes before we accept animals. We want to be organized and prepared!
😺 We have enough basic supplies to accept animals once our policies are finalized!

We are only as big as our foster network! We have supplies, now we need you!

What does fostering entail? We will do our best to provide all supplies needed (such as food, toys, enrichment, etc.) but you supply the space and time. We want to focus on enriching the lives of the animals while in our care. We plan on providing training and information on clicker training and play therapy for our foster families via online classes.

You tell us what you're willing to foster (medical cases, behavior cases, general, cat, small animals, etc.) and we will pull from shelters accordingly.

We have an official mission statement!
Instead of focusing on something "cutesy" or fun, we really wanted to boil everything down to why we started this organization.
We don't want to just be "another rescue". We want to be a resource to the community in addition to animals in need.

Thank you to everyone who participated (virtually and in person) in our first ever Kitty Krawl 2021! Our biggest goal for this was to spread the word of our organization and then, of course, raise funds to get things started.

We raised $420 in sign-ups and donations! We also met many new people and gained a few foster families! Our website saw a 300% increase in foot traffic as well.

This is only the beginning. We can't wait to hold more events and start to intake animals.

If you haven't signed up already--don't forget our "Kitty Krawl" is happening THIS Saturday!! This is a chance for us to raise funds to provide care and supplies to start intaking animals while also spreading the word in our community.
Can't join the whole day? That's ok! Join us for just the hike, or show up at a bar or two. Fun swag will be given to in-person participants! We'll also be going live on Facebook for those who can't make it in person! Come with questions and a willingness to have fun.

We've been made aware that there is a need for our services more than ever now that "kitten season" is in full swing. We are trying to move up our timeline to take in animals, but need certain supplies to do it.

We will gladly accept the following (if used, we just ask that it's clean and "usable"):
😺 Litter Box (any size or shape)
😺 Food & Water Dishes (ideally cat size)
😺 Cat Food (Canned and Dry, Adult and Kitten)
😺 Kitten Milk Replacement (KMR) (Powder or liquid)
😺 Bottles (to bottle feed kittens)

These are the are most basic needs at the moment. If you'd like to drop off donations, send us a message and we can give you the address of where to drop things off.
