We got a request to help with finding homes for 13 pot belly pigs that are in need of placement due to being in a bad situation. They are located in NJ, but I believe there may be some rescues willing to help transport. Let me know if you can help.

We are excited to welcome a new face to the tribe! We brought Phoenix (Jet Speed) home yesterday and we are already so in love with him. He is a Thoroughbred fresh off the track. He is going to get some well deserved r & r and then we'll see what he can do. :)

Do you have a child who is curious about horses and would like to try riding in a low key environment?
Riding is great to help kids build:

Some horses are at higher risk of ending up in a bad situation in the auction pipeline, so when I see one like this heading to auction all the 🚨 go off.
Some of these risk factors include:
✅untrained or unridable horses
✅young (under 3) or older (over 15) horses
✅horses in poor body condition
✅injured or ill horses

These are the primary risk factors and from this picture, I can tell this little gal has at least 3 of the 4. This worries me.

🌟Rescue stories - Sophie🌟
9 months ago this girl was in a kill pen, fighting to survive. I saw a picture of her while we were on vacation at the beach and she called to me. So I immediately made arrangements to secure her. When I brought her home, she was in bad shape. She was sick and had multiple infections ravaging her body. We weren't sure she would pull through. She came through the winter and shocked us with her recovery. Just look at her shine! She is the sweetest horse and is stealing my heart more every day. Today she doesn't even look like the same horse. And while she still has scars from her battle and her body is still figuring out what it means to be healthy she literally glistens. One thing is for sure: she is a gem and I am thankful for her every day.

This horse is going through auction tonight. He will probably end up with a dealer and in the auction pipeline. I can pull him if anyone is interested in donating or giving him a home.

Please, please pick up the trash - don't just leave it to blow away - it doesn't just disappear. It can cause many hours of pain and trauma, as well as thousands of dollars of vet bills or lost animals for farmers. Not to mention the damage that it causes in other areas of nature. Please just take a minute to properly dispose of your trash, pick up the trash that is blowing around, or clean up to trash from a spilled can. Nature and farmers thank you.
