ANIMALS READY FOR HOMES 😃
X2 bearded dragons super cheeky wee babies, love being hand fed, and are very friendly! Require a large minimum 1.2metre long set up as they grow quite large, with safe substrate (coco coir or plays and/top soil mix) when they’re a bit larger. UVB light, proper heating and a thermostat. fed on mealworms and small locusts
X2 baby water dragons, not very friendly but getting there, I’ve getting them to the stage where they’ll let me pet them and watch them eat but they’re very jumpy and quick. Require a minimum 1.5metre long set up with a good water area, uvb, proper heat lights, thermostat, and safe substrate when older, fed on mealworms, and small locusts.
Frogs have just changed, green and golden bells. Minimum tank sizing 90cm long, require UVB, good water area and land area. Fed on small worms, and flys.
Blue tongue skinks (both babies and adults available). Very friendly, good with being handled, love going up sleeves, and getting out of there enclosures. Require a large over 100cm long tank, with a large amount of substrate to burrow in (coco coir, or playsand/top soil mix). Uvb lighting, heat light, thermostat required. Fed on baby foods, fruit, vegs, grubpie, locus’s, crickets and mealworms.
One reeves turtle super cheeky, named Connor Richard, Very friendly, loves sand on the bottom of his tank to burrow and play in. Requires a large tank, 400-500litres, basking area, heat lamp, uvb light, canister filter, and a good lid (he can climb). Loves eating fish, leafy greens, shrimp pellets, and frozen turtle food.
X2 female Red Earred sliders, they’re very large so need a minimum of 500litres, it’s too late to introduce them into a pond but a pond home would be ideal if someone has an indoor set up now for them and then can introduce them into a large secure pond
Adoption fees apply to most of these animals, happy to ship around some of nz but before homing we require a photo of your set up 🙂
