This picture makes me laugh. The night before Boo went home, she ran in and out of the shower, as I was washing my hair. The bathroom floor was soaked but she had so much fun!💗

I know the puppies who went home a few weeks ago are smack dab in the middle of their “shark” era! 🦈 🦷. These are some good tips to help with the biting.

🐾 Embracing the "Puppy Explorer" Phase 🦈

Meet our mischievous little furball who's currently in the notorious "puppy explorer" stage! 🐶💢 It may seem like they've unleashed their inner mischief, but fear not—this teething phase is a natural part of puppyhood.

Tips to Navigate the "Puppy Explorer" Phase:

1) Provide Teething Toys: Supply a variety of safe and durable teething toys. This not only satisfies their urge to chew but also helps soothe those sore gums.

2) Positive Reinforcement: Reinforce good behavior with praise and treats when they chew on appropriate items. Positive reinforcement goes a long way in shaping their behavior.

3) Redirect and Distract: If you catch them in the act of nibbling on your favorite shoes, calmly redirect their attention to an acceptable chew toy. Distracting them with something appropriate can help break the habit.

4) Freeze Treats: Try freezing treats or toys to provide extra relief for sore gums. The coolness can be soothing during the teething process.

5) Puppy-Proof Your Space: Keep valuable or potentially harmful items out of reach. Puppy-proofing your living space minimizes the chances of them getting into trouble.

6) Consistent Training: Be patient and consistent with training. Reinforce the boundaries and consistently reward positive behavior. Consistency is key during this developmental stage.

Update! Thank you for all the shares…Boo has now found her furever home in Jacksonville. My heart is so happy this morning!🐾♥️🐾

This is BOO! 👻
Due to no fault of her own, this precious baby is looking for a new forever family! She is a tri parti mini golden mountain doodle. Dad weighs 34 and mom weighs 22, so we expect this little nugget to be in that range. She is one of the smaller of the litter, so she should be closer to the 25lb range.
She is doing excellent on potty training and crate training, has had her first set of shots and has been microchipped.
Please share to help her find her family, as she is the only little one left (I boarded her for her previous family for 8 days and they just let me know today that they couldn’t get her)😔

This baby went home with these wonderful people and big fur-brother (who is also from Sunset Doodles)! She will be living in St. Augustine!

When she left, it hurt a little. 💔 She was so tiny and afraid at first, I spent a lot of time with her…but I’m happy to say she came out of her shell and can be a little spitfire!🤣🐾♥️

I have been asked by so many people who have a Sunset doodle, would I ever have a doodle reunion. I think that would be so much fun and I would love to see all of our past furbabies!
Let me know what everyone thinks about doing it in March…(may need to change the date, if spring break falls around this time).
