OB Beefcake and her 4 chunky babies from MR Kylo Ren. She's an excellent mama with only 4 this round these babies will be chunky. She's also super spicy while mothering these littles. She calms down in a few weeks though.

Rainy Days Satins Rowan x Moonrise Rabbitry's Kylo Ren has 12 babies. Red satin/ NZ F1 x Black Satin angora /NZ F2 carrying pointed white.
Most of these babies are chestnuts with high Rufus/ wideband. They'll be helpful getting back to reds. Dad is EE so well never get reds paired with him. These babies will carry wool and should carry sheen, if not outwardly displaying it. Keeping the high rufus is a huge goal of mine, bodying being most important but color intensity being up there near it.
I do subscribe to the build the barn before you paint it method except that when the color you're after is underdeveloped in most breeds, you sometimes have to drag that paint along with each build improvement. 😅
I'll be watching closely hopefully for a great body buck in there.

At the time she was my best. I really appreciate her. Her daughter is way better though especially in wool texture. But she's an F2 first generation to get wool back . OB Magnolia Her daughter is the profile picture.

Whelp that's a wrap folks. What an amazing 5 days it has been. The support for our creations was amazing! I am so grateful for everyone that came and purchased and even those that just stopped by and said nice things. We got some custom orders up next on the list of things to do busy first, I'm going to sleep. Lol
Thank you Joey Martin and Stacy Easton Martin and Preston Martin, for sharing the booth with me. Making it a little less scary being there alone and keeping me company. I enjoyed having someone there for food breaks and such, knowing the booth was in good hands. Thanks to all the people that stopped in to say hi. We won't be back at Convention until 2027 in NC. So if you want something you'll have to follow my business page or reach out for a custom order! I do ship! Thanks again for a fantastic week!

Tomorrow is our last day! Catch us tomorrow and see the difference items available. I have finished 3 bunnies during convention 1 mini lop and 2 Netherland dwarfs. I have one available tomorrow. So after our set back with my 1st place ( in my mind) produced animal ( the split peen), here is next up OB's Katniss F3. She's not sheeny she may have even dropped the recessive. However her coat and type is a marked improvement over her mom, so she's worth a shot. Her F2 mother's coat is very flat and dead looking. Hers is a huge improvement over it. Her shoulder is pretty short as well which is a rare train in this barn currently. I wish my F3 would have had sheen but that's a fixable trait.

This rabbit was such a solid step forward in my progress. I was so pi**ed when I flipped her over and learned she was a he with a split p***s. So to the crock pot he went. It feels like a set back for sure. But it will allow me two things, rebreed the pairing and also be vigilant on the offspring only keeping bucks without splits from that pairing. Ugh setbacks suck.
