Not recommended for large matts, those will most likely need to be shaved by a professional... but for regular maintenance of your long haired cat, this is a great reference video. Here’s the OG when she was first rescued. Thank you Southpaws Express for saving miss Buffy, formerly Sassy (... well, she’s still sassy). ❤️

Update 8/15 - We are happy to say that Sassy left with rescue today!!! Thank you Southpaws Express rescue and all for your help in saving her!!!

Update 8/14 - It looks like Sassy has a rescue hold!! Please keep sharing till she is out of the bulding!!

8/13- still not one person has come for Sassy. Without a local foster, she will be euthanized. If you can help, comment below.

She is in quarantine and possibly ill, so we desperately need a foster, donations, and a rescue to save her life!

If you were local and can open your home, please comment below and we will try to find a rescue. If you cannot foster or adopt, please consider donating. 100% goes directly to the rescue that saves her and if she isn't saved your donation is refunded in full.

"Sassy" is a catahoula hound mix, age 5 months old, brought in on 7/26 from Channelview.

"I already heard the news. My adopters aren't coming for me on Monday after my surgery. They decided it was too soon after their other dog went to the rainbow bridge. That's ok. I try not to be too sad. That just means that they weren't my family, right? I know I'll find my new family. I hope it's soon. Are you my family?"
