😎🌻 ALLERGY SEASON 😎🌻

🐾 Allergy season is upon us and if your 4-legged friends have allergies, they may present in several ways:

1. Scratching
2. Inflamed skin
3. Biting feet
4. Changes to their coat
5. Ear issues
6. A**l gland issues

👍 There is no way to 'cure' an allergy but there are ways to manage it, so that your 4-legged friend does not have to suffer all summer. This can be through medication or through allergy testing.

❤️ Your little ones only get a limited number of summers in their lifetime, please don't let their allergies stop them from having the best time they could!

DOGS ON LEADS ON CLIFFS ✅

Why wouldn’t you❓

With the summer upon us, I make no apologies for giving this another share.

I am gutted with the multiple headlines each year hearing that a dog has gone over a cliff, usually fatally. If not fatally the injuries are often life changing and costly.

If you think your dog is bomb proof, think again. I chatted with someone last year whose dog was badly injured falling from cliffs. She thought there was no way her dog would fall, but it did. She was keen to get out the message, a message she wished someone had pushed at her. 😒

👉 It is totally preventable. There is one simple and cheap answer to the problem of dogs going over cliffs.

A LEAD

📢📢📢 I can’t shout it out loud enough.

PUT YOUR DOG ON A LEAD

I use a long line, or if in a narrower space a 2m training lead which I can shorten if necessary.

If you are not comfortable using a long line, use a shorter lead or practice using a long line AWAY from the cliffs.

Don’t rely on a retractable lead that you might not lock in time or could fail.

Don’t take chances with your dog’s life.

👍 Cliff walks? For dog’s sake, use a lead.
