Apollo the Maine Coon

So, about 3 weeks ago, we had a visitor, who turned into a squatter. This morning, it looks like we have a new accepted stud into our tiny home. At least he has a younger half brother to mess about with now, but that mature alpha male character is definitely squeezing his way out lately as Jasper, our new addition, tests the boundaries of what he can get away with.

Apollo has done amazing lately, being allowed to wonder a little bit, his fur does mat a little, but he was able to get his first experience of home clipping, and the clipper I bought was absolutely brilliant. I’ll add a link later on. During the test I was able to have no guard on it and push it on my hand with no irritation or discomfort at all.

He is growing fast and come summer time we will be looking for a lovely lady Maine C**ne to hopefully carry on the proud pedigree bloodline. Proud of Apollo for accepting his new addition, couldn’t be easy but he did us proud.

This rarely happens at the moment cause I’m off exploring at night. But tonight, loooong snuggles and affection from Dad. Dad is really happy when this happens. Fur everywhere but it’s a necessary evil. ❤️

Lessons learned when owning this Maine C**n.

He is;
60% rag doll
10% a**hole
20% ‘normal’ cat.
10% cuddle monster.
Spring time means there isn’t enough tape to de-fluff the molting.
Black bedding is not a good idea.

But is it worth it?
Would not change him for the world. ❤️
