📍 San Diego, CA. Bluey is the sweetest little guy out there! He was rescued by Dr. Grindle at Feral Cat Coalition🐱 His love language is definitely physical touch—he loves to give kisses and lay on your lap any chance he gets. His favorite is movie nights and he will sit with you the entire time 🥹 But he is also very playful and loves his wand toys the most (“da ball” by go cat is his favorite). He gets along great with other cats, really good about using cat scratchers, and loves to lay on his cat tree. Bluey has been such a great addition to my little family! When he first joined he was a bit skiddish, but his confidence has sky rocketed. This guy will make anyone fall in love with cats and would make the perfect addition to anyone’s life!!

✨SUCCESS STORY✨
Swipe to see Cassandra’s glow up ➡️

One of our volunteers was feeding a colony a few months ago, and Cassandra ran right up. She was a bit congested,
so Smittens took her in after spaying her. Her congestion worsened, and after testing, she was diagnosed with a rare fungal infection called Cryptococcosis 😢 It’s a painful fungal infection usually caught by outdoor cats. The infection, which she inhaled, made it difficult for her to breathe and her nose quickly was severely impacted. An otherwise perfectly adoptable and loving cat, Smittens set her up in a long term foster, where she received medication multiple times a day to clear the initial infection, which can take 1-2 years. Her physical appearance, energy level, and appetite improved quickly within a few weeks. She will likely be on medications long term.

The best part is, her foster fell in love and adopted her, and she is a perfect angel 💕 We are so happy for you both, good job Cassandra!

To wrap up this month, we wanted to share our appreciation for volunteers behind the scenes — the Operations Support Volunteers! 👩‍💻It takes A LOT of background support to make our organization function: Administrative support, data entry, website maintenance, medical support, intake, adoption center coordination, social media management, graphic design, event coordination, fundraising coordination, photography, application review, volunteer coordination, and SO so so much more. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! 🦃

We are giving thanks this month to all of our various volunteers who together make our rescue work! 💕 Today, we wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to our Fosters! Fosters are so critical to any rescue — They save lives by providing a safe and loving space for cats and kittens, create space in shelters so we can rescue more animals, improve adoption chances through socialization and love, rehabilitate cats, can help a potential adopter find the purrfect match since they know the cat’s personalities, and so much more! 💕 Without our fosters, we wouldn’t be able to save the cats we have as we are volunteer based and only have adoption centers to showcase our cats on a rotating basis. Thank you Fosters for everything you do! 🙏

It’s the orange crew’s last night in their foster home! Shout out to foster cat Merovingian for stepping up as stepdad and being so patient around these guys 🐱 All 5 of the oranges are available for adoption!

Presenting: Crush, SunnyD, Tang, Simply Orange, and Sunkist 🍊 We pulled them from a high kill shelter’s euth list and gave them another chance!

We are giving thanks this month to all of our various volunteers who together make our rescue work! 💕 Today, we wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to our Adoption Center Volunteers! 🐱 The BEST way our cats get exposure is through one of our adoption centers, and Adoption Center Volunteers are vital for taking care of our cats in these centers! Every day, volunteers go into our stores and give our cats food, water, clean the condos, and most importantly provide lots of playtime and socialization for our cats. Thank you Adoption Center Volunteers for everything you do! 🙏

We are giving thanks this month to all of our various volunteers who together make our rescue work! 💕 Today, we wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to our Transporters! 🚗 Driving one meowing cat from point A to point B is very necessary for us to be able to achieve our mission. We appreciate our transporters so much as they help bring cats to receive medical treatment, move them from foster to foster, and in some cases, save them from shelters where there is a deadline for the cats to be euthanized. Thank you Transporters for everything you do! 🙏

Meet:
Owen, Octavia, Oscar, and Billy Goat 🐐🐱

🐱 Owen: I was pulled from a high kill shelter with my siblings, Octavia and Oscar. I am a sweet, PURRY perfect kitten who loves to be around people. I can be a little more shy and cautious at first than my siblings. Overall, I’m an independent guy but I sure do love attention! I also love to play and cause a little kitten chaos. I would probably do best in a more calm household.

🐱 Octavia: I was pulled from a high kill shelter with my brothers, Oscar and Owen. I am a sweet, PURRY perfect kitten who loves to be around people. I’m a mix of my brothers, curious but very easy going. I will cuddle in your lap or mind my own business. I also love to play and cause a little kitten chaos. I will fit perfectly into any home!

🐱 Oscar: I was pulled from a high kill shelter with my siblings, Octavia and Owen. I am a sweet, PURRY perfect kitten who loves to be around people. I am the bravest of my brother and sister! I love to purr, cuddle, explore, play, and cause a little kitten chaos. I would fit into any household!

🐱 Billy Goat: I was found by animal control in Riverside with quite a few injuries. Due to an injury on my tail that could not be repaired, I had to have a partial amputation. But that hasn’t stopped me! I’m a spunky, quirky little guy who literally runs like a goat. I’m a huge cuddler and I like other cats, but I don’t like dogs so much. I will sleep in any blanket/pillow pile. I enjoy sitting on your head like a hat if you’re on the computer 🖥️

Meet Beatle! Mama Beatle and her babies (Harrison, Lennon, Starr who have all been adopted and McCartney) were strays in Mexico before they came to us. Beatle is so sweet! She’s friendly, absolutely loves attention and lots of pets. She was a great mama to the boys but is definitely is looking forward to having her independence and leaning into the playful/silly side she’s never really had the opportunity to explore - since she was barely a year old when she had her babies. She is very chill and just likes to be around people taking a nap or hanging out nearby, and she’s a bit chatty too (especially when her foster talks to her, she likes to meow back). Like her boys, she loves churus too and food in general.

She’s had a little bit of exposure to dogs and seems to be fine with them if they’re not in her face. She was great with her babies but is a bit timid with new cats - partly probably due to all the recent changes so she’s a bit overwhelmed.

Moon says, “Happy Halloween!” 🎃

Hi my name is Moon! I was rescued as a young kitten with my two brothers, Georgie and Jasper. I was bottle fed so I’m well socialized and I’m spoiled! I’m a little social butterfly that is not afraid to introduce myself first to any human or animal. I play well with other kitties and dogs and I’m a curious little creature that will try not to leave your side. I love attention and being around my people, and I will sleep right on top of you if permitted. Even though I’m a little attention seeker and a typical rambunctious kitten, I don’t have any maladaptive behaviors. I may want to sit on your laptop if you’re working or studying but once you give me a soft spot, I will watch you work for hours - I just love company! I also love any cat toy, especially the fishing toys, and similarly to my two brothers, I am not picky with food. I would be a perfect companion for someone that wants a little best friend to hang out with at home!

‼️Bottle Baby Cuteness Overload‼️ Meet Pubert, Sally, and adopted brother Oogie 🐱 We pulled all of them from a high kill shelter (they don’t have the resources like bottle baby fosters like we do) so they would have euthanized if we didn’t rescue them. It’s hard but rewarding work to be a bottle baby foster, and their foster mom has been doing an A+++ job!! 💕
