One of the saddest things about having so many wonderful guests over the years is saying goodbye. Little Lulu was one of our first guests and she was part of our family and household for her 14 years. She was friends with everyone and was always ready to welcome guests, visitors, family, friends and grandchildren as they came along. You will be so missed young lady, by so many. Rest easy little girl and thank you for sharing so much of your life with us. Love and cuddles ♥🌈

I often feel guilty that I don't take Ani to dog parks etc but she's more than happy with her lovely extended group of good mates. I guess I don't feel comfortable in big groups of unknown folk & can't help but feel she is similar. Today watching her & her Buddy just rambling about really oozed with love and good companionship! Gotta love these guys 💕

When your special great nephew (thru the human line 🤣)comes for a day of play it’s usually non stop chases & tug! But it’s grey & rainy so Ani & Douglas have settled for hanging out together to watch the water fall from the sky 😁

I was so upset today to see a pet shop in the middle of Chatswood Westfield (NSW) full of young pups! Guess I haven’t seen any in Adelaide for ages so was a bit shocked. All ‘oodles’ of course plus the obligatory French Bulldog- this is just a few of the puppy boxes. 😟

Yesterday we farewelled our lovable little Everest. When only 5 months old she came into our lives as a guest of Harmony Paws but before too long she became part of the family. Such a wonderful friend to all and a special companion to our Jordy. She will be so deeply missed and I find it so hard to deal with the heartbreak she has left behind. The space she has left is so full of love and happy memories. Thank you so much Everest for being part of our family and for all the support & love you so generously shared. 💔

Nothing like a get away by the sea to get some grounding and fresh vibes. Louis, Ani & I could've stayed for a lot longer - with multiple daily walks on the beach, log fire at night & the feeling that all was well in this world of ours.... back to reality now but feeling stronger to cope with it at least 💙❤️🌊🌤

On todays outing we stopped for a coffee and it makes me realise how life can be so much easier & peaceful if you put the effort in to show your dog how to handle those novel yet boring situations in life! Ani has learnt how to quietly wait on her mat and just take in the world around her. We don’t do it that often and certainly not for long periods but nice to know she's not going to be overwhelmed or frustrated when we do!
Just gotta love this girl ♥ ☕ 💃

Exploring Hoboken with Joey the teapot Yorkshire Terrier. 2 of the many dog parks we’ve passed - rather small but much appreciated by all the locals. So many people have dogs ( though have not spotted one vizsla!!)

Such a perfect Autumn morning and what better way to spend it than taking the guys for a good run, sniff & explore in the top paddock!! We went to check out the new Happy Houndz Adventure Park at Kangarilla SA - a secure field you rent out just for your own dogs so they can enjoy a relaxed time without any unwanted distractions, stresses or company! There's some equipment to play on, dirt to dig in, tunnels to run through, lots to sniff & plenty for any dog to have a good time! My guys each enjoyed themselves in their own ways - Mista meandered around sniffing, watching and enjoying while Ani explored, ran, sniffed and kept the biggest grin on her face the whole time! Lovely chilled out morning in such a beautiful place in the middle of Kuipto Forest 🌲🍁🌤
