We thought we would fill your Friday with the most beautiful Echinacea Coneflowers. I mean who doesn't love a Floral FriYAY?!?!

The Echinacea are in full bloom

I can see why people call them Queen of the daisies

I love how they fill the landscape with such rich colors

This deep orange is a big favorite of mine

Sunshine yellow is pretty awesome too

We need to plant more of these for next summer

They make me smile every time I walk outside

Magnolia’s puppy Winston, is so excited to hear that Magnolia is due next month! His PAWrents said He can’t wait to see the as he knows they will be PAWfect just like him!

One of Magnolia's Goldendoodle puppies named Winston sent us a message to say he was very excited to hear Magnolia was having babies next month!

I heard my mommy was having puppies!

We can't wait to see them!

Hello, oh uhhh Goodbye! We’ve been planning a trip to the zoo for quite some time now- and everything went to plan… Except for the weather! We got to see a few animals before these monster storm clouds rolled in and threatened us with hail and SO MUCH rain! We all sprinted back to the car and started our hour + journey back home. Hello and goodbye! Here’s to next time!

We have been planning on going to the zoo today for the past month and I checked the weather forecast and by all accounts - we were in for a great morning at the zoo.

The sky was beautiful as we made it to the first exhibit

By the time we got to our third exhibit.... it was time to recheck the forecast

Ummmmmmm This is not looking good

The skies continued to darken

quite quickly!!!!!

Even though we had driven over an hour to get here and

we only saw a few exhibits

It seemed pretty evident that it was time to head home

Exhibits started closing and hail was heading our way

Time to leave

EVEN THOUGH THE SKY WAS AWESOME

Definitely in a hurry to get to the car

We received an update from one of our Yesteryear Acres Goldendoodles. Bailey has been living her very best life. She will be turning 8 years old and her family is ready to add a little doodle sister for her. Our sweet Magnolia will be having English Goldendoodles next month and they can't wait to welcome a new furry family member later this summer.

Until then.....

Bailey will be spending her summer days living on her boat

Bailey on the boat! We got an adorable PUPdate from Bailey who is now 8 years old and loving with her 🚤 She can’t wait for Magnolia to have her puppies and welcome home a new little furry sibling!

We are continuing our work with our Memory Quilt order and I have been working on layouts to make the coziest quilt possible.

Counting fabric squares

We decided to do 5 shirts across and 7 down for maximum hugs

Hmm what to place next

Hazel says this process is her favorite part

She says, “10/10 recommends quilts for the best naps”

Thankfully my Mom came in and helped me pin the last few rows

And then Hazel finally decided to wake up from her nap and join the fabric fun!

Just a few more shirt squares to place!

I really love this layout (top row is currently on bottom). I’m going to sit with it for 24 hours and keep checking on it to make sure my brain loves it before I start sewing like the wind!

I received the cutest PUPdate from Kirby! Kirby is a Ruby puppy that spent some time at Camp Always Amelia. I was so happy to hear that Kirby has kept all his good boy manners he learned with me AND is learning SO much with his FURever family!

Kirby is walking on his leash, sitting when asked and is even learning to “Stay”

He loves exploring the neighborhood

Playing and squeaking his favorite toys

And continues to be a goofball and brings light and laughter wherever he goes… Which is often right behind his PAWrents as a second shadow

Most of all, Kirby loves his humans and wants to spend every waking (and sleeping) moment with them.

Memory quilt in progress ❤️. finished cutting all the shirts and pants into fabric blocks! Now she is ready to assemble the memory quilt and get sewing sewing sewing!

It is a daunting task to take the memories of a loved on and turn it into a quilt- and one I do not take lightly. Today I finally finished cutting out the last pieces from the pile of beloved clothing.

I evaluated every single shirt

And pair of pants to optimize the amount of fabric blocks I could get per item

As well as ensure all the meaningful parts and pieces were preserved

It is a slow process, but oh so worth it

One pile of love, ready for assembly

And the bits and bobs to weave in to the end result

I can't wait to put this memory quilt together.

Fri-Yay fun!! Our local farm market had blueberries today! We like to stock up on the sweet summer berries to freeze and enjoy in the winter months. Who’s to blame us though when we simply HAVE to pet all the dogs and pick up sourdough everything bagels along the way 😅🐶❤️

We ran out to the local farm market to pick up some fresh picked blueberries. We LOVE blueberries and we always freeze some summer berries to stock up for the winter.

We are just going to run and pick up our quarts of berries right?
