Help if you can 💙🧡🩷♥️

Being honest, we find ourselves in a real jam with our newest addition, Agatha.
The woman who surrendered her, promised, sweared, was absolutely certain she was spayed. She is not. I now have a 135 pound dog in heat. She was already scheduled to be spayed but now that must wait. She also has a mast cell tumor (malignant) that is to be removed on Tuesday. Given her size, everything is much more expensive.
The hard truth is her spay alone will cost $450. The tumor removal I estimate at $2000 but don’t have exact estimate yet. She is our responsibility now and we will do what needs to be done but it is going to take all of our money, and then some. I was in no way expecting this. Because people are dishonest, we are going back to only taking dogs I can assess myself.

Gus and Gracie went HOME today!!

It takes a village and hope helps but above all is LOVE LOVE LOVE 💖

Pretty rad of for the safe space where Gus & Gracie were able to grow and blossom and find their new family 💫

Thanks to for neutering and vet care early on in their lives - without this organization and their efforts, Gus & Gracie would never have met their sweet momma Jean or their newest human family… Odds are they wouldn’t even have survived.

There are so many homeless cats and it might be easy to overlook shy, ear-tipped kitties. Gus & Gracie were taken in from the streets as kittens and lived in a quiet home with lots of peace & love. In the past few weeks they’ve been through a lot of changes & challenges - first losing their mother then another kitty that they lived with and now their HOME. I’m happy to report that with the Shamrock Foundation volunteers and kind visitors, G & G are trusting that they are safe and are coming out of their shells more everyday!

They are looking for homes - yes - but in the interim would love more company & TLC. I visit every day and would be happy to show you their true personalities, which come to light with visitors 🥰

Can you help reconnect their lives with a visit or even better a new loving FAMILY & HOME? Please share their story, this post & PLEASE call or text me to meet them 💖💖💖

I love em all, but these two have some really wonderful personalities - SWEET & LOVING, peaceful, fun & funny 😽😽

A few months ago I was leaving a client’s house after a dog walk. I had just closed my car door and I heard what I thought was an animal crying out in pain. It was. A man was pushing a shopping cart with what was likely all of his earthly possessions and crying the most horrible painful sound I have ever heard. I rushed to ask him what was wrong - he could barely speak from his wailing, “my dog” he said. His dog had been missing for almost 24 hours.
A neighbor and I helped him look - she knew of him by name. He was homeless. My point in sharing this story is that all the animals I’ve ever met in life have brightened my life - all the pets I’ve been so fortunate to have called my family - have been my most valued, my most precious “possessions.” Love is what makes life OSO great and pets are an endless supply.
A few days later, I saw the man pushing his cart WITH HIS DOG 💗 I honked and waved. My heart swelled to see these two smiling, beaming with happiness!
Pets shouldn’t be a privilege in life. A huge thanks to all who help the homeless - both animals and human animals 💖💖💖

PLEASE SHARE! Gus & Gracie need new homes. This is their story:

Gus and Gracie are 4y/o siblings. Their momma Jean passed away Monday night after a valiant fight with cancer. She trapped these two as stray kittens. They are very sweet, loving and playful cats - they were the light of Jean’s life, as she was theirs. I was hired to come to the home for monthly nail trims. Initially, they were shy but with treats and patience, we all became great friends! Last Sunday I went to the house for nail trims and was informed that Gus was having difficulty urinating. I took him to the new urgent care vet in Middletown and they performed surgery to clear his urethral obstruction and he’s now on a prescription diet to help dissolve any remaining crystals he may have and he’s doing great!
Jean left her chemotherapy treatment to pick up Gus from the vet and went back to chemo, only to be transferred to the hospital an hour later. Sadly, she never got to see her furry family again, except for the pictures and videos I sent to her in the hospital. I was told she grinned from ear to ear. Jean was an amazingly kind human. She fed and trapped stray cats and had them neutered out of her own pocket and fed them every day. I am blessed to have met her, to love her - and her cats. Life isn’t fair - this world needs more Jeans 💙🧡♥️

We received a few rolls of plastic but need more to refill our supply. Muffin would like your help. He has a very sore/injured eye and could really use all the good kitty wishes that his eye heals while he is in care. If his eye gets worse or it doesn't improve, he will need surgery to remove it. The painful eye is already not doing much for his vision, so we think he will be just fine joining the one-eyed kitty club. Of course, he (and we) would prefer that he stay two-eyed, so we are treating him with medication and extra care to give him the best chance possible.
