Oreo and Joey making friends. Who knew?? Cat and bird 😳. Shortly after this picture was taken, Oreo began spinning circles and made himself a ‘nest’ in Joeys fur and had a nap!

We put a furry friend in with Oreo since he is a lonely chick. Oreo is much happier, and a lot less talkative 🐥❤️

🥚As eggs age, they take in air and develop an air pocket. You can test an egg's freshness by placing it in a cup of water. If the egg floats, it indicates the egg is old and has a large air pocket, in which case you should pass on eating it. If it remains on the bottom, the egg is usually safe to eat.

Amazing for baking. The yolks are larger then a chicken egg, and have a richer taste. They have more nutrients so they fluff up better when whisked, so great for cookies, cakes, pies etc!

There favourite treats are peas and moistened oatmeal!!

They will be using the heat lamp until they are 6 weeks, (unless it gets warmer before hand) and the. They will be okay without.

Soo our ducklings have been moved into the shed and set up out there. We put them in with one of our adult female ducks that was previously injured.

Muscovys are really amazing mothers! They will take care of babies that aren’t there’s or sometimes even baby chicks.

All of these guys are all set up together in the same coup. The babies have taken a liking to her and huddle up to her to stay warm.

The babies have cheered her up as well, and have given her something to do.

So cute!!

Boomer and kilos got to have a play date while Cody was building a new enclosure for the bunny’s.

They cuddled on the couch, and boomer followed kilos around while he explored. Right after I took this photo, boomer started grooming him. Too cute!!

Today marks two weeks for these little guys!

They are growing quite quickly and like to play. They have been jumping around and experimenting with their growing wings. In a couple of weeks they will be moved from inside into a more permanent home.

Starting to think of names for them.. any suggestions?

Such a pretty drive home. Not so much a fan of the cold... but love the look of the snow! ❄️❄️❄️❄️
