Frinton Feline Aid is a small self funded rescue & rehoming service covering Frinton on Sea and the local area. We specialise in Birman Cats but also assist all pedigree cats working alongside other rescues locally who call on us for breed expertise. In exchange we also try to help

them with ferals and strays and we also pick up deceased cats from the road and try to unite them with their family. We are not a huge rescue centre most of our cats are helped by foster homes or accommodated at our small cattery. We are all unpaid volunteers and we cannot continue our work without your help, your donations, fostering, adoptions and care. All cats for adoption have an adoption fee which helps us to pay our vets bills and keeps our cats feed and comfortable. All our cats are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated and wormed, prior to leaving for their forever home. We also give 5 weeks free insurance with Agria and offer adoption and integration support for life.

Some fabulous pre Christmas news from Parsley (now Reggie) and Sage (now Misti) our two rescue Birmans who went off to their new homes in September having come in in an appalling state.
They have settled in well and are enjoying their new found freedom…both are busting to be outside whenever the weather isn’t foul…..and found snow something quite confusing !
They have learnt cat flaps and cat flap curfews, how to swim, how to play in mud, and how to run like lightning streaks.
Reggie is a complete loon and is getting his lifetime of experiences all at once and as fast as he can (it seems) but is also a complete cuddle bucket (bless him).
Misti is taking her time, but also taking the lead from our elder cat Milo, who both seem to get on with very well. Our super eldest Pooka (18.5 years) is fine with them, but keeping herself to herself, which is just how she likes it.
Milo finally has the company he was missing 😊 and seems to be taking them out for lessons in the great outdoors.
Gotta love rescue!
