Each of my pieces takes a part of me with them, a promise and a dedication I have not only to the animal, but to the people who will love them forever after. For lexy, this love was never more apparent than in the moment she reunited with her owner-- her handler and her partner in life.

As a service animal, my first domestic dog, and first pet without physical reference, the road to lexy's completion has been harrowing, but the reward greater than I could have imagined. Living with a SD and having my own in training, it touches my heart to know the happiness that comes from their togetherness, to know neither member of the team will ever have to say good bye.

Lexy the service dog's front legs coming together. Her handler preferred wire-free internals for the purpose of cuddling, so I've constructed custom jointed wooden armatures, wrapped in my usual manner.
