We are INCREDIBLY EXCITED to announce we will be hosting Andrew Sterner of JASD PSA Club for a seminar early December!
Andrew Sterner has a long resume, he has been in PSA since 2012. He trained military and police dogs from green to street from 2011-2016 and started JASD PSA Club in 2016 after time in Tarheel PSA Club. He is the 2020 Regional and National PSA 2 champion, the 2021 Regional PSA 1 champion, and the 2017 National PSA 1 vice champion. He has received many high in trial trophies over the years and more than that, he has proven his teaching by coaching club members to the same standards having them go on to collect high in trial trophies of their own. Over the years, Andrew has coached 11 decoys from green to PSA certified. He was a certified trial decoy himself for three years as well and has built countless dogs from puppy to title. He is also a NePoPo Silver School Graduate.
This seminar will be focused on PSA handling and problem solving. Given his award resume, he thoroughly understands PSA and how to maximize points as a handler on the trial field. Point maximization through handling makes all the difference in titling vs podium finish. He has also demonstrated problem solving capabilities over the years coaching teams that had years of poor foundations, coaching them to overcome these issues with novel techniques, and then having them go onto the trial field with major increases in points awarded. Wether you're brand new to PSA, have been a long-time member, or are considering if PSA is the right sport for you, I promise this is a seminar you wont want to miss.
