What an incredible weekend at the Blake Hernandez grooming seminar at Atlantic Pet Stylist Academy in Fredericton! 🌟 🐩

I had such a fantastic time learning and had the pleasure of connecting with both new and familiar grooming friends.

The demonstration day was truly inspiring, as Blake showcased his incredible grooming skills while teaching us invaluable tips. 🐩 ✂️

On Sunday, I got to groom my Scottish Terrier Sue, and wow, the hands-on experience was incredible.🐶💖

A massive thank you to Blake for your fabulous teaching, and to Nicole at Atlantic Pet Stylist Academy for organizing such a wonderful event. Also, a big shoutout to all the vendors for their generous gifts!

Can't wait to put all I've learned to work!! ✂️✨

Chosen to fall on 27th March in honour of the 27 recognised breeds in The Kennel Club’s Terrier Group, National Terrier Day celebrates the feisty and loyal nature of terriers.

Terriers may be small, but their personalities are mighty! From the spirited Jack Russell to the dignified Scottish Terrier, these breeds are known for their courage, intelligence, and unwavering loyalty.

Many terriers thrive in dog sports, agility, and companionship, proving that their working roots are still very much alive.

💥Did you know that we offer hand stripping services? 💥

🐾Hand stripping is an important grooming technique for maintaining the health and appearance of breeds with wiry or rough coats, like Terriers and some sporting breeds. This method involves manually removing dead hair, promoting a healthier coat and skin by encouraging new hair growth.
Hand stripping also enhances a dog's natural colors and textures, preserving the coat's structure, which is important for show dogs. Additionally, it helps prevent matting, a common issue that can cause discomfort and skin problems.
