However, some dogs may be sensitive to wheat (or gluten), so it's important to know your dog and monitor them when they first try Jax Snax. Signs that your dog might have a gluten allergy can be ear infections, skin irritation, vomiting, and diarrhea.

Jax *loves* apples, and as many of you know, he was the inspiration for my apple oat dog treats. I'm convinced that apples really have it all when it comes to Jax, because he loves crunching, he loves eating things that I eat, and he loves anything that resembles a ball - apples check every one of those boxes!

With only six ingredients, I wanted to make sure each one in my dog treats were going to be beneficial for dogs! Oats play a major role in my dog treats - thus the name, apple oat! Read on for information about the benefits of oats.

As with any good thing, oats can be a healthy *addition* to a dog's diet when they are prepared properly, but too much can cause digestive issues. Always feed Jax Snax as directed on the package for best results!
