Sprinkles on the lawn time 😁 my Mum gets a third of a Lily’s Kitchen Salmon chew stick and slices it into tiny pieces and then throws it on the grass for me to find 😤 why she doesn’t give it to me whole I do not know! It would save all this wandering round trying to find it! 😫🐾🤣

I always put others first even when I’m unwell, take last night for example, I didn’t feel too good but I waited until 9:30pm on a Sunday night to make the journey to the Emergency Vets easier for my Mum and Dad 😑 hardly any traffic on the roads, the waiting room is empty! And there’s nobody before us in the queue! What’s not to like?! I had a very bloated belly and was in some pain and my legs couldn’t support me, but after a thorough exam, a bit too thorough if you ask me! 😳 I did not expect a finger up my bum I can tell you! And an ultrasound of my belly I was allowed home. I think my Dad enjoyed the late night drive, in fact I’m sure he did as it’s always nice having to find somewhere you’ve never been before in the dark (I’d been there before when my Nan had to take me and my Mum late at night when I had eaten blanket, I think Nanny really appreciated the late night drive too) and my Mum really seemed to enjoy a night sleeping on the settee with me 😁 instead of being in a comfy bed. I’m happy to say I pooped twigs around 10am this morning and I immediately felt so much better! I reckon my Mum and Dad would agree it was £636 well spent! 😬

This day ten years ago Teddy joined our family ❤️ where has the time gone?! 😮 he is a complete pain in the backside and always has been! 😆 but we wouldn’t have it any other way 🤣 Love you little man 😍

So a week after my stitches were taken out, my ear hematoma returned 😢

We were so disappointed ☹️ especially as my previous hematoma op on the other ear last year went well.

I get incredibly stressed at the Vet, even with my annual checkup so as my ear did not seem to bother me, we have decided against another operation given that the outcome could leave me in the same position as I am now.

My Mum and Dad took advice from the Vet and friends who have or have had bullies with hematomas which were left to heal on their own.

My Mum used an ice pack on my ear for the first week and now 7 weeks on it is healing but I think I will have a floppy ear because of it.

I will post updated photos soon, but here are some showing the hematoma after it returned.

Yay! 😁🐾 Today is a good day! The itchy stitches have gone 🥳 The first photo is me at the Vets just after they were removed, the Nurse said my ear looks great and is healing well 🎉 the other two photos are back home in the garden after having celebration treats 😍🐾 A big thank you to everyone for the healing vibes and get well wishes over the last couple of weeks ❤️ I really appreciated it and so did my Mum and Dad 😁

I’m having my stitches out tomorrow! 🥳🐾 I have been on two short walks since my op, I’m looking forward to getting back to my normal routine once my ear has had the all clear 😍

op checkup earlier this week and the Vet was pleased with how my ear was healing, I’ve obviously been doing everything right 🥳 getting plenty of rest and trying not to touch my poorly ear 😁

This was me yesterday with a bubble in my right ear! And me today after my operation 😫 I’m not happy I can tell you! I had an aural hematoma in my left ear last year and now this! 😖 but at least that annoying bubble has gone it was really getting on my nerves 😫

I had a wonderful day out at Holkham beach and Hall yesterday, with my Mum, Dad and Nanny 😁 The temperature was just right, not too hot and I walked on the sand then laid in the water to cool down, I had a splash around and all this black stuff appeared! 😮 not sure what it was but it wasn’t my colour running 🤣 I dug holes in the sand too. We then had a walk in the grounds of the Hall, and I bought myself some Pooch’s biscuits from the gift shop and then we had a picnic under a tree 😄

My good friend Stanley 🐾 came to visit for a few days with his Mum, I hadn’t seen him for 4 years 😮 I think I might have been happier to see Stanley than he was to see me 🤣 we had a lovely walk together 😍

I’m in need of some healing vibes 🐾😣 The aural haematoma I had earlier in the year came back several weeks ago 😞 I’ll let my Mum tell you the story as I am resting on the settee at the moment with the scent of Lavender essential oil sending me to sleep 😴

Teddy had another drain fitted which we only managed to keep in for 3 days, 2 days longer the last time though 🙄 Our Vet said to keep the incision open and drain the ear manually over the next 7 days. Brave little Teddy let me drain it 3 times a day for those 7 days, bless him ❤️ but on day 7 he cried out but still let me drain it. I just couldn’t do it anymore after that, I didn’t like to think I was hurting him. We had our post op visit with the nurse the following day and then a Vet check up two days after that and we decided with the Vet that surgery was the only option going forward as every time it was drained it just filled up again. We dropped him off at 10:30 this morning and I waited with him while he had his pre-med as he finds the Vets incredibly stressful (he’s fine in the waiting room if there aren’t too many dogs and he likes saying hello to the nurses and anyone else without a dog, he’s also been known to steal dog treats from the racks in the little shop area while I’m not looking!) I found the pre-med very scary as I was unaware how much his breathing would slow and I thought he had actually stopped breathing at one point! However, the nurse explained how his heart rate would drop quite a lot hence the breathing rate slows. We walked the village and local area for the next 3 hours while we waited to collect him.
So glad he is home 💖🐾

Poor me! 😞 I’ve been to the vets 5 times in the last 7 days! I developed an aural haematoma last Monday ☹️ the Vet pierced and drained it but by the time we got in it was full again! I went in again Tuesday to be sedated and had a drain fitted, due to my dislike for kennels I was brought straight home afterwards. My mum turned down the nurses offer to help carry me to the car! 😬 That was a mistake! I might have been floppy from the sedation but I was not unconscious and I definitely didn’t appreciate being hoofed into the car by my mum 😳 I seem to remember being folded up in the footwell at one point! There was no way I was wearing a cone, I mean really! What an embarrassing piece of attire! 😖 and I wasn’t happy having a drain in my ear either! By Tuesday afternoon the cone was history and by Thursday I had shaken that drain out 😑 I was so glad to be given the all clear yesterday 😊 Now I can get back to my normal life! 😁

I got this snuffle mat for my birthday last year, it’s my favourite toy! I LOVE it 😮 I have a bit of a history with eating blankets 🤔🤪 I know this mat is made of material but it’s too much FUN so I’ve decided not to eat it! 🐾

So I decided to have blanket for tea on Thursday 😑 it’s not the first time I’ve done that! I left it until out of hours just so it cost my Mum and Dad a whole lot more at the emergency vets! Luckily this time they realised what I had done in time and I was able to have an injection (rather than an operation) to induce vomiting and one after to stop it. I didn’t particularly enjoy that part of my evening out! Their pockets are now £555 lighter 😮 thankfully I am insured and it’s just the excess they have to pay!
