Hi! It's been a really chaotic few weeks. Most people probably don't realize that we support all of our fosters and continue to support our adopted buns for their rest of their lives, so when there is a lot of bunny emergencies or problems that they need help solving, it's difficult for us to keep up with some of the less critical tasks, but we've taken in 3 other medical bunnies in the last 10 days that we need help getting them taken care of.
We'll start with Raven. Due to her safety we won't go into details about where exactly she came from, but we fought for her and she came to us paralyzed as a tiny baby, maybe a month old. We're unsure what happened to her, but because she had movement in her toes and feet, we were hopeful we could help her heal, like our other paralyzed baby, Baby. Raven has already been to our vet and x-rays were done. Luckily nothing is broken, but the spine is compressed. She's on cage rest and pain meds for the next 2 months. So far there has been a few tiny improvements. Luckily she is also able to go potty on her own. We are very hopeful she will be able to regain most of her mobility with time, but she will need follow up visits, her first vet visit covered and her spay. Putting her vet bills alone at over $1200 by the time we hope she'll be adoptable. Her foster mom is in love and says she's the sweetest girl, who showers her with kisses all day.
Litter box raffle winner
We have a winner! Congrats Claire H! Thanks to all who entered. We raised $280 for the bunnies!
Many of you remember Sweet Coco, a 2 lb little netherland dwarf senior girl we took in a few weeks ago from a local shelter where she was given a due out date because she was sick and the shelter doesn't have resources to care for sick bunnies. She had never been to a vet before and has been living with a painful condition where her eyelashes drag against her eyeball everytime she blinks. Since she's over 3 years old, she's also at extremely high risk for uterine cancer. She has an appointment Sunday to fix everything, BUT....we HAVE to raise the funds by this weekend or bump her appointment back. She needs her spay (praying she doesn't have cancer), entropian surgery on her right eye and a molar trim. We need to raise at least $1300 (more if she has to have her uterus sent out for pathology and also if she has to have 2 separate procedures. Our vet will go in order of priority but doesn't want to put her in the danger zone for ileus). She was sad at first and withdrawn, but she is so much happier now and loves her compounded meds, so she's doing her part to feel better.
We also need hay donations or money so we can purchase hay for our rescue and a local shelter we provide bunny supplies for. Please help us out True Hearts fam! Any amount helps!

Paralyzed baby bunny beats the odds!
Things have been a little crazy here, so it’s taken us awhile to (proudly) introduce Baby! Baby was surrendered to us following a cat attack where he was presumed to be partially paralyzed. As you can see, we’re thrilled he’s seemingly proving all predictions wrong. We’ve already spent $500 on diagnostics for this guy, and we’ll need multiple follow up rounds of imaging and vetting to make sure he continues on the best course as he grows. We have really been down in donations for the past couple of months, and yesterday we spent $1100 at the vet 🙀 we really need help from our True Hearts fam 🙏 please donate if you’re able, share, and engage with our posts.

TGIF! Happy Home Depot Christmas Bunny Friday! Through our various donation platforms, we raised $560 for our bunnies. We love that you all love this cute little guy and his living counterparts as much as we do, and we’re grateful for your participation.

Lilly’s Botfly removal
WARNING: video may be sensitive to some viewers. This is the video of Lilly’s botfly removal. We still desperately need donations to cover her medical costs. We are about halfway there (Thank you!!!) and need another $400. Please donate if you’re able, or like/comment/share if not.
We are broken hearted to let you all know Shadow passed away in the early hours of Friday morning. He was recovering so well from his eye removal surgery, but he suddenly took a turn for the worse. Shadow was battling e Cuniculi with us, and he’d likely had untreated infection for several years before we got him. He was on meds before surgery to prevent a flare up, but his eye needed immediate attention and was causing him pain, so we had to make the decision to remove it emergently. We had really hoped that would put the worst of this guy’s issues in the rear view mirror, but the universe had other plans. Shadow was truly one of the sweetest rabbits we have ever met. We’re honored that we got to call him a True Hearts bunny. 🤍🖤Even though he is no longer with us, we are still working to pay off his vet bills (and we don’t regret giving him our all for one second). We would greatly appreciate if you’d donate or share.
🥁ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT📣
Wicket (he has a new name, but we’ll get there) has been adopted!!! We have more cute pics with Wicket and his bunwife coming soon, but we had to share this adorable video. To celebrate the adoption, his new family had a contract signing ceremony where they let him choose his new name and officially welcomed him to the family with kisses 🥰🥰🥰🥰 how sweet is this?!
Baxter is such a sweet natured boy. He is showing his foster kittens the ropes and has even taught them to groom him. This guy would love to live in a house with cats and another bunny friend. He is so special! We can’t believe someone dumped him at the Logan landfill 💔😭
Ears? Who needs ‘em? All Bliss needs is his aerodynamic bunny x seal x polar bear bod to do giiiiiiant binkies. If you need more of this in your life (who doesn’t?), adopt our special boy!
