The weekend’s almost here and that means it’s almost time for Cody’s Gotcha Day Café!

Stop by this Saturday, the 13th, at anytime between 10:30am - 2:00pm to purchase a drink where a portion of the costs will be donated to .cats and .

Good dogs who attend will also get a free pup cup while their humans enjoy some of the speciality drinks inspired by Cody and his friends!

You will also get a chance to meet some of the adoptable dogs and cats who you’ll be helping with your drink purchase.

Tail Town will be there with their kittens from 10:30am - 12:00pm.

The canines from Pup Culture Rescue will be attending from 11:30am - 2:00pm. They’re all ready to find their forever families and hope they can also share Cody’s adoption anniversary month. If you want to see who the special guests will be, check out some of the recent posts on ’s Instagram.

This is a day meant to bring people and animals together and celebrate a good dog who just wants to give back to a very good cause.

Cody and the team at are so excited for this Saturday. Cody has been telling everyone about his Gotcha Day Café and no one has been hearing it more than Emma.

So fun fact. Even though Cody’s a dog, his best friend is Emma, a Sour Patch Kid of a cat, who spent the first year of her life living in a Frat house before she was later adopted by a college girl who’s only experience with felines was admiring them from afar. Don’t worry, Emma showed her the way and when Cody came into their lives, showed him how things work too.

When Emma heard about Cody’s idea for his adoption celebration where he wanted to help other rescues like him, she decided that even though her party days are long over, she should invite some of her friends from .cats who are still looking for a family to spend the rest of their nine lives with.

So this Saturday, the 13th, from 10:30am - 12:00pm, come to and meet some adoptable kittens who are hoping to be your furever friend.

You can also purchase a coffee or tea where a portion of the costs will be donated to the rescue.

We’re going to be having some very special guests coming to Cody’s Adoption Anniversary Celebration!

On Saturday, July 13th, from 11:30am - 2:00pm, these adoptable dogs and puppies from will be at .

There will also be coffee and tea available for purchase where a portion of the costs will be donated to the rescue.

In honor of the shop dog, Cody’s, gotcha day anniversary, please join us this Saturday, the 13th, at for the very first Cody’s Café!

Before working at this small local pet store, Cody was a shelter dog who was scheduled to be euthanized six years ago because it became overcrowded and he was too scared to want to meet anyone. Thankfully, someone came to rescue him at the last minute and he has since shown that rescue dogs can be the best dogs.

With the shelters exceeding well past their intake limit, we can’t help but think of how many of them are like Cody, who are just waiting for someone to give them a chance. We wanted to do something special to celebrate Cody’s adoption anniversary and also give back to the dogs and cats who are still looking for their forever home.

From 10:30am - 2:00pm, come to Off The Leash Modern Pet Provisions and purchase a cup for charity. A local coffee vendor, will be making specialty drinks where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to .cats and .

Each good dog that comes to the store will also receive a complimentary Pup Cup.

You can enjoy a drink, go shopping and even meet some of the adoptable rescues who are looking for their forever homes.

Cody’s Café is meant to bring people and animals together. We hope you will stop by the store and help us celebrate a good dog who just wants to give back to a good cause. 🩵

It's not just our pets that deserve a happy Christmas, so that's why we're looking to give the animals housed at Pasadena Humane a holiday to remember. 🎄

From now through Christmas Eve, we're taking donations of new or gently used toys and unopened bags of treats or chews. 🧸🦴 Santa Paws will deliver them to the shelter animals on Christmas! 🎅

We understand the film and television community has been deeply affected by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and we are hoping to help as much as we can, for as long as we can, so please help us by encouraging your friends, family, and followers to aid with donations. Any funds left over at the end of the campaign will allow betterTogether Forever to continue their mission to keep companion animals in their loving homes and out of overcrowded shelters via food banks and free veterinary care.

THEY'RE HERE! 😽 Some of our friends from Kitten Rescue arrived a few minutes early. Kittens will be here today until 3. Come say hi and take one – or two – home!

We are VERY excited to be the first and only store in California to carry bison chews from Sadie's All Natural! 🍖 How LA has slept on these treats for so long is a mystery. 🕵️‍♂️ Sadie's freeze dry process retains the natural composition and structure, digestive enzymes, amino acid profile, and contains the same nutritional benefits of feeding raw foods.
