Seeking Foster Family for Astra, the black Golden Retriever Husky puppy pictured here.

-11 Months old
-House trained
-Dog, cat, baby, wheelchair, senior friendly
-Not the best leash walker yet, working on it
-No signs of agression
-Fixed, all shots & medications up to date
-Loves snuggles and spending time with people & dogs

We’re looking for a foster family that is flexible with visits. We’d like to bring our girl home at least twice a month for a few days. She will thrive well in a home with just about anyone, except agressive dogs. She’s very docile and will not do well with agressive dogs.

Hi everyone!

The joy a dog brings into one’s life & home is boundless, but there are stages and phases in life when giving your furbaby the undivided attention they deserve, and the life they love becomes temporarily impossible.

We have come to a point in our lives where having 3 dogs is robbing us of what little time for sleep and rest we do have. We have an infant boy, who is an absolute angel. He deserves all of the love and attention possible, and so do our girls.

We have 3 female dogs, 2 of which are 11 month old Golden Retriever Husky puppies. One is a senior Pomeranian Daschund. With the schedule of a breastfeeding infant, we know that our girls would be happier with a family that have no sleeping babies to tiptoe around. That being said, we also want to keep our girls in our lives and bring them home occasionally - and one day, back home forever.

The Foster Dog system is fantastic for people in transition (I mean who, never goes through a transition in life?). I like to think of it as a « Dog Sharing » program, in which the Dog benefits from gaining another loving family in their lives!

We are hopeful that we can find a Foster Home for our 2 vivacious, extremely sweet & gentle, dog/cat/baby/wheelchair friendly Golden Retriever Husky girls - to help us along this path until we’re ready to have them home with us for good.

We are located in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

We look forward to finding our co-furparents ❤️

We also look forward to creating a safe space where anyone or any family needing help with their furbaby can come to comfortably, and with love as their guide - interact with Dog Loving Volunteers to Foster their pups.

All parties involved are advised to proceed with caution, document agreements, and be sure to cover all bases before exchanging owners. While we do believe people are « inherently good » it’s better to be safe than sorry when furbabies are involved.

We suggest that the original owners remain responsible for costs during fostering, however Foster Parents & Owner Families can decide what is best for their situation.
