Things are starting to look a little blue at Buraba Gypsies. Well, perhaps they are starting to look a little Rockabilly Blue :)

The start of the month saw someone a bit new making their way over to Australia. Billy not only brings a unique colour combination, he also brings in some new bloodlines.

Being by the America based black roan Gypsy Treasures Lil' Vader (By Pompeii and out of a Tumbleweed daughter - Clononeen Emerald) It means that he is an outcross when it comes to roans in Australia.

His dam is the stunning New Zealand based Ryma Silver Magnolia ( By Coates Silver Lining - imported UK and out Gypsy Magic Quality Star) C. Silver Lining has already proved himself as an impressive sire and GM Quality Star takes us back to the stunning lines of Davey Ward's Black Stallion.

So there are going to be some exciting times ahead, he does already think of himself as a bit of a ladies man despite the fact that he is only a eleven months :)

He is going to be a tank in a couple of years, he has a huge amount of feather considering he came from a never ending winter in NZ straight into an early Australian summer, so in these photos shows him with nothing other than a good wash. Photos were taken 23/11/2023

Not quite sure why Bucky is still here, I guess because unlike his sisters he isn't all flashy white markings or palomino, that and the fact that he is a he - even though he is a gelded he now days.

These photos were taken the other day when he saw me coming into his paddock with a bucket, because while he loves humans, he loves humans with buckets even more.

Pirate got to have his first wash recently, he handled it quite well though I doubt he knows he will be having another one in a couple of days due to his enjoyment of getting muddy :)

HE 💙 is a good type of c**t with a stunning head and those blue eyes and eye-liner are very special 🩵 His marking are eye catching with what old Indian folklore call the war bonnet and chest shield 🙂 Overall a lovely c**t, we are more than happy with our foals this season 😍
