She is growing well and keeping her mum on her toes.

Not sure if thats the high tide mark or the low tide.

Life is good when you can eat your own homemade extra thick yoghurt and home grown black Doris plums for breakfast.
It's the time if year when I get to have fun with the goats milk.
The kids are weaned except for 2 so we have an abundance of lovely fresh sweet milk.
And the gardens doing well to.

Wow wow wow!
If you have ever thought about herd testing and showing goats these 2 gorgeous Muddyvalley does are available through no fault of their own. Their Dads circumstances have changed and Priscilla and Dawn need to go and finish their herd test off for this season. We can offer free transport for the does either on our way down to the south island or back up to Auckland. The preference is for them to go to a home who will continue their milk testing and showing. Don't wait around too long or they will be gone!

I have just seen a post about a Muddyvalley wether that has been kept entire and they are now wanting to breed. We sell them in good faith that the new families will have them wethed at around 12 weeks to help the goats have a longer happier life. Because our gene pool is so tiny and you will not know the animals pedigree it's just not good for the breed to be breeding just because you can.
So looking forward to this year's wethers we will be coming up with a plan and no wethers will be leaving here entire . Unless you are a person I know and trust.

Not long till our big trip to the South Island. Showing at the Wi******er A&P show
We still have space available to transport 2 goats.
We have also decided not to stay the night at the show grounds on February 28th.

Our doe kids born in August are almost weaned. They are getting better at going out to the paddock. It turns out it's not such a scary place after all.
We did have an accident today but the little lady is doing well with pain meds on board and a lovely green splint.
