This little guy has just started his puppy training with me today.
Just some basic puppy training to make sure he’s heading in the right direction and to ensure a less stressful time for him and his owner moving forward.
Meet Genji🐶👋🏻
Today I’ve done some recall work with Genji, keeping it fun and simple as he’s never been on a long lead. So we’ve took a step back, put him on a long lead and started with the basics.
Why a long lead?-
Long leads are great for giving your dog more freedom while still having control of what they are doing. They’re a safe and effective way to practice recall training that will allow you to confidently let your dog off the lead completely. Everybody should be using long leads to work on recall, as it allows you to correct your dog’s mistakes when in training. If your dog is off the lead and it decides to run off, you have no control. It’s also a safe way of making sure your dog doesn’t get itself hurt by running up to the wrong dog, who may not be friendly.
Don't be that owner who has to scream ‘it’s friendly, it’s okay’ just because you’re unable to recall your dog! Put your dog on a long lead while training that perfect recall.
ENGAGEMENT! - What is it?
Engagement within dog training is where you teach your dog that listening to you is rewarding.
Dogs are one of the few animals that make eye contact with other species. Using this to your advantage and building on it to encourage eye contact will help build engagement.
A dog who has practiced engagement is easier to train; you will form a stronger bond, which will allow your dog to handle distractions better and will make training sessions more enjoyable for the pair of you.

I commonly get asked ‘do you only work with Rottweilers?’ The answer is no. I work with all dogs, any shape and size.
Rottweilers are just a personal preference for me and I own them, that’s why you will see them on my social media’s more than other dog breeds.

I just want to clarify I train any dog breed, any size
I’ve had a lot of people lately asking me if I only train Rottweilers. I own Rottweilers myself and that’s why you see them on my page. But I love training any dog with any issue 🐶 🐾

Please when anybody looks into buying a dog, do not rush. Do your research and if possible, make sure to see the dogs and the breeder.
Luckily I was told about this before he fooled anyone (that I’m aware of) but there’s someone out there using my dogs to trick people.
