Welcome to Miami Axolotl! I created this page to document the journey my sons and I just started - being axolotl owners. Our goal is to educate the public on proper care of the axolotl so more kids (and their parents) can responsibly have these cute little creatures in their lives. As you may know, games like Minecraft have made these adorable animals very popular. Unfortunately, due to lack of information, education or both, these guys are not getting the right care they deserve and they die very early deaths. I have been in the aquarium hobby for over 20 years and my sons are experts in kid's pop culture. By combining our knowledge and ideas, we hope to create fun, easy, accurate information for kids to enjoy so they can foster an appreciation for correct axolotl husbandry.
