Did you know? We use chicken waterers for our puppies! Why, you may ask? When they're small and just starting to drink water, it prevents pups from falling in and potentially drowning or just getting wet and cold.. as they grow it prevents accidentally knocking it over and making the whole pen wet... and when they get to this stage, it keeps them from playing in the water bowl.. keeping fresh clean water available longer.

Sunshine and Puppies!

Live with the puppies!

This week my boys will be participating in our county's spring 4-H Livestock Show! Between the 3 boys they will show 3 lambs, 3 goats and a pig... many, many hours of work goes into raising these projects and they are ready to compete. We will let you know how it goes! If you are local to us, the show happens on Thursday, March 13th at the Coastal Carolina Gin in Terra Ceia. It starts at 11 with a costume class, then lambs, pigs, goats, and cattle. Come on out and watch the show! Lunch concessions will be provided by our 4H club as a fundraiser and supper is available for purchase by Keyser Catering. There is a support auction for the kids at 6:30pm.

These babies got their first "meal" tonight to start the weaning process!! I'd say they were very happy with their dinner. 😋 Cheerwine (aka Tiny) went all in 🤣 #cockerspaniel #puppies #NC #popshop

Already have a positive update.. she is nursing! Your prayers are working, ♡ .. prayers that she continues to improve with each feeding.

These babies are still in that sweet sleepy stage... but they are oh so cute 😍 Notice all that movement? During the newborn stage (first couple of weeks) pups mostly sleep... they move a lot in their sleep like this to build up their muscles and develop their nervous system. This is called Acitvated Sleep. #cockerspaniel #puppies #NC #popshop

Did you know we have more than just pups here? Friday we had a nice warm day... we took advantage of the beautiful weather and gave Poky a bath! Porky is my youngest son's spring 4-H project.. he and Porky will show at our county show next month!

The pups got to experience rain and wet grass today! I think they loved it ♡♡ #akc #cockerspaniel #puppies #onemore

And the last to go out were Leyland Cypress (pink) and Balsam Fir (teal) ... even Miss Adventure herself (Balsam) was not a fan... they just wanted to return to their heated palace lol.
