2024 is slipping away quicker then I would like to admit. The storms seemed to wash away all the dirt, gross, and unhappiness away. These brief moments when the sun broke through warmed my heart and made me appreciate my little chunk of the world so much more today.

Horses are a prey animal… typically they always leave one on guard to warn the herd of danger. This sight in my pasture warms my heart. To leave the guarding to Clyde and Charlie while they all nap is a true testament to the feeling of safety for them.
