The accidental Mousery 3 weeks ago we had 3 pet mice, now we have 40 + after I adopted a group which are fastly multiplying

Been a while since I posted anything, as I've been busy building more mouse housing, playing with different variations of food and also bedding to see what works best for keeping down the odor. So far I have rehomed 25 mice and no I still haven't counted how many I actually still have here ( maybe atleast another 40ish atleast at a guess) ... nor haven't even counted cages 😂... but I am confident the last babies have been born and separated into same s*x groups, I have also enquired into des*xing some of the boys so they can stay here with my own colonies of girls and sadly one of the older girls has developed a tumor so she's living her last days here until it's her time 😥

These guys have just opened their eyes and are starting to explore, their poor mum's are some of the shyest out of the group but have come so far since I first got them and have slowly been showing more interest in their surroundings and starting to explore more

Lots of these babies are going to be long haired... I have a few albino babies ( I think ) and lots of siamese ( again I think ) but won't know until they develop points... but they have come from siamese mum's with varying coats. Will also have a few adult siamese girls available for adoption soon once babies have been weaned in a week or two 😊

Okay is there really anything cuter than baby mice.

I have lots of babies starting to "leave the nest " now and hopefully now that it's been just over 3 weeks since adopting these guys the last litters should have been born

Hi everyone

3 weeks ago I had 3 mice, now I've got 40+ and growing daily as our pets decided to make "friends " with a wildy then I adopted 2 large groups of mice from a lady who needed to rehome them... little did I know there was a male in with each of the girls and since then we have had 3 litters on top of the existing ladies and gentlemen I "inherited " so over the last few weeks I have removed the males, and been separating the girls into smaller groups suitable for the cage sizes and to give them room to have their babies and over the next few weeks will be looking to start the adoption process for all the extras
