Parent of a student? Did you know that AKC offers college scholarships!

To be eligible, sign up your student as a Junior handler and attend performance events (e.g Fastcat). Very low barrier to entry 😀

The Performance Events Department is pleased to announce the creation of a $10,000 scholarship fund for students that are active in AKC Performance Events who will be attending an institution of higher education during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Hope everyone's 2023 is starting out strong! Updates for the website - we have a new feature of 'Favorites'!

The Favorite's table allows you to:
- Add a gmail or outlook calendar invite for the Entry Submission Open or Event date.
- Tag/Favorite events you are interested in

If you have any suggestions for other features that would be helpful, let me know!

November Update: AKC events for Nosework, Rally, Agility and FastCAT have been updated.

With the amazing help of Marquez the site will also ingest event information from NACSW ORTs, CPE Scentwork, CPE Agility, UKI Agility!

And a nugget to look forward to... in development are additional features to 'favorite' events and add calendar reminders for trial 'open dates'!

Wowza! The site is now live ❤ I hope we can tap into the dog sport community for folks to share Trainer info and newbies can get a taste of the different dog sports they can play with their dog!
