We are always looking for ways to increase confidence, add fun and/or improve whatever dog breed we work with.

We can create simple obstacle courses in our back yard with whatever materials we have on hand to build confidence and have fun.

This obstacle course tests to see if these puppies would make good Search and Rescue candidates. They need to have plenty of drive and be fearless. Therefore, the obstacle course presents a variety of terrain a dog would encounter in a real life situation.

Breeders of working dogs often build simple obstacle courses for their litters. The pups have to traverse the obstacle course to get to dinner. You can tell a lot about the pups' potential from these fun courses; like which one figured it out first; which one traverses the obstacle course the fastest, etc.

Today at the Frailes Community Bazaar clients Andree Hill with her lovely rescue Oliver trying out his new large Ivanka black, fluffy bed and Kate with handsome rescue Memito headed home to try out his new upstairs Ivanka Medium Fifi bed. Kate says he likes to rest his head on the edges of his beds so the pillows around the edges of this bed ought to suit him just fine. A word of thanks to these two kind ladies to find room in their hearts and homes for San Miguel's over population of homeless dogs. How lucky those two K9s are. Hoy en el bazar comunitario de Frailes vemos a Andrée con su perro Oliver estrenando su cama Ivanka y a Kate con su guapo Memito rumbo a casa para estrenar su nueva cama también de Ivanka. Memo le gusta apoyar su cabeza en la orillas de su cama. Kate esta segura que por esa razón le va funcionar a la perfección esta.
