And that's a wrap! Had a blast at our first UKC dog show weekend. Zaphod decided to finish off the weekend with another group 1st after narrowly beating his sister Hailie in the breed ring. Thank you to Judge Mike Keeler for the kind words and recognition of our Loyalguard kids!

Had a great time today at our first UKC dog show weekend. Zaphod earned a Group 1st on his first venture into a UKC ring and Elise chose not to be outdone, by earning the Group 1st at the second show today. Also had a blast reconnecting with our dog show friend Annette Balkevitch who unexpectedly appeared at today's show!

Elise decided to be a good sport when I suggested celebrating her 1st birthday at a dog show. It appears she had some "extra special birthday girl" vibes in the ring today because she came home with some lovely recognition. A huge thank you to Judge Donna Conod for awarding our girl and thank you to the Markham Kennel Club for a lovely show & venue.

I'm a bit slow on posting here - been a hectic few weeks.

The Loyalguard crew took a summer road trip out west and had some fun at the AKC and EKC dog shows while we were there.

We are very proud of our pups who all managed to earn majors towards either their Champion or Grand Champion titles. Our girl Hailie even finished her Champion title (CKC pending) and made a nice start towards her Grand.

It was great to catch up with friends, meet some new ones and find a few adoring peke fans along the way. Thank you to Natalie Sauner for helping us show the pups and to the other people who willingly stepped in the ring when we needed them. Thank you also to all of the judges who recognized our pups and to the clubs that put on great shows.

Looking forward to more Loyalguard adventures to come!

Had a lovely weekend out with the Loyalguard crew. Enjoyed time with friends, though could've done without the Saturday showers! One of the many highlights of our weekend was having our little beauty Elise awarded with Best Puppy in Group in the Limited Breed (group 5) show amongst a very competitive group of puppies! Thank you to Judge Murray Eason for awarding our girl.

Another delightful weekend out with our Loyalguard pups. Had lots of fun and laughs with friends and managed to stay almost dry despite the intermittent rain.

The dog show highlight was having our 10 month old girl Elise go Best of Breed over Specials males. Such a proud breeder moment to know that our girl can give mature Champion males a little something to worry about!

Had another enjoyable Loyalguard weekend. Took two of our girls to the Kent Kennel Club & the Toy Dog Club of Lambton-Kent shows on Saturday and had a great time there. Thank you to the judges for awarding our girls and to the clubs for a great show day. Also had a nice visit with friends on Sunday and caught a beautiful photo of our boy Zaphod.
